This season, winter wonder and holiday glamour await guests and locals alike at Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel, a landmark property famous for its festive ornamentation since opening in 1928.

Beginning December 1, 2017, the Hotel will completely transform its grand lobby into an enchanting holiday wonderland. Shades of red, gold and copper will adorn the expansive space, including a 12 foot (3.7 metre) Douglas fir as the centrepiece surrounded by glistening metallic tree sculptures, and abundant florals designed by internationally renowned event and floral production house Square Root. An ornate and edible life-size gingerbread house large enough to walk into also takes home in the convivial lobby. The 8 foot by 12 foot (2.4 by 3.7 metre) house envisioned and created by Executive Pastry Chef Chris Ford will offer unique holiday gifts for purchase such as caramel popcorn and gingerbread emoji cookies.

Further adding to the festive cheer, Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel will bring back a time-honoured holiday tradition for the first time in 15 years. Beginning December 1 through December 25, 2017, every night from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, guests can revel in quintessential winter weather underneath the property’s porte cochère and delight in roasted chestnuts as real snow falls from above.

“December is a magical time at the Hotel, and this year is particularly special as we approach our 90th anniversary,” says Regional Vice President and General Manager Ben Trodd. “In addition to the traditional fete, we are thrilled to offer these 'surprise and delight' moments for our guests that honour our heritage and celebrate new beginnings.”

Additionally, THE Blvd, with the celebrated champagne house Moët & Chandon, has reimagined its famed outdoor patio as a chic winter wonderland. From November 28, 2017 through January 2, 2018, the patio overlooking Rodeo Drive will frost itself with whimsical white décor. Guests can cosy up around the fireplace and enjoy an exclusive menu and cocktail list that includes the new and innovative Moët & Chandon MCIII, hot cocoa with 72 percent Valrhona chocolate and fondue.

The Spa is also participating in the festive fun with ‘12 Days of Spa-liday’. From December 13 through December 25, 2017, The Spa will be unwrapping exclusive daily gifts, providing guests with rarely seen reduced pricing and upgrades on services including massages, facials, and hair and makeup at Lea Journo Salon. 12 Days of Spa-liday specials must be purchased the day they are offered, but can be redeemed anytime until January 31, 2018.

On December 31, 1927, Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel held an exclusive dinner to celebrate its grand opening. This New Year’s Eve, THE Blvd, CUT by Wolfgang Puck, and CUT Lounge will celebrate the occasion with specialised menus, bubbly cocktails and dancing into the New Year.
