Welcoming the Month of Ramadan at Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence

A month of reflection and gratitude and connecting to those who matter most
March 23, 2022,
Cairo at The First Residence, Egypt

Ramadan is a time for reflection, gratitude and most importantly to connect and spend time with those who are dearest to us, be it family or friends, and welcome the Holy Month in Cairo with a collection of culinary experiences presented by Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence.

Whether its outdoors with a Ramadan experience under the stars in Aura restaurant with the glistening pool in the backdrop, or panoramic views of the Nile on the roof deck aboard the First Nile Boat at the recently revamped and re-opened Zoe restaurant that serves Greek cuisine, in addition to local and regional favourites.

In the heart of First Mall, La Gourmandise presents Al Saraya Tent with an international buffet, focusing not only on traditional local and Middle Eastern specialties but will include Italian, Asian and Greek dishes, drawing inspiration from the First Nile Boat’s restaurants Riva, Nairu and Zoe.

Ramadan with an International twist

A team of chefs lead by Executive Chef Erwan Laurenceau is preparing an extensive array of Ramadan offerings. Chef Laurenceau, who is deeply connected with Egyptian culture, has lived for more than ten years in Cairo and is well acquainted with local traditions. “Egypt is one of the best places to experience Ramadan, while the city is quiet and reserved during the day, it awakens and re-energizes after the sun sets. This year I am proud to introduce a more varied Ramadan menu, which includes items such as chicken briyani, lamb murgh makhani, Thai shrimp noodles, Greek inspired salads and appetizers, and even pizza and risotto will be featured in this year’s Ramadan buffets. Our varied offerings will be unlike any other in the city,” says Chef Laurenceau.
