A Fun Pastry Masterclass, a Mocktail Workshop and Relaxing Spa Treatments Await Young Guests This Spring at the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, A Four Seasons Hotel

Award-winning Pastry Chef Florent Margaillan initiates children to local specialties under the sun of the French Riviera

April 3, 2019,
Saint-Jean Cap-Ferrat, France

Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, A Four Seasons Hotel unveils its spring family program including two new exciting activities: a pastry workshop dedicated to the youngest ones to discover the secret recipes of some of the most iconic local specialties with the Hotel’s Pastry Chef; and a mocktail workshop with the Hotel’s head bartender.

With a perfect location between Nice and Monaco, on the coveted Peninsula of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, the Grand-Hôtel offers the perfect background for a fun family vacation. The Concierges have crafted a list of activities for the entire family to enjoy on the French Riviera, suggesting day trips and excursions in the nearby surroundings to ensure not to miss any of the local gems. From a visit to the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco to a bespoke perfume making experience in the medieval village of Eze, or a visit to the local market in Nice, the region offers many family-friendly visit options.

New this season, children will have an opportunity to take part in a junior pastry masterclass with the Hotel’s award-winning Pastry Chef Florent Margaillan. They will learn how to make the delicious local lemon financiers or the French traditional dessert the pain perdu. They will also be able to practice their beverages skills during a mocktail workshop with the Hotel’s head bartender.

Additional on-site activities include the discovery of the Hotel’s seven hectare (17 acre) park with the gardener as private guide, the possibility to drive around the property in a fancy vintage Porsche or Ferrari mini car, and the opportunity to relax at the Spa with a dedicated kids’ menu.

Especially for Easter 2019

For Easter Holidays, Pastry Chef Florent Margaillan designed a sophisticated chocolate Easter egg in the form of a precious ring, inspired by the timeless elegance and iconic glamour of the Hotel (available from April 13 until 21, 2019 at EUR 85, upon request).

During the Easter weekend, the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat has organised a special program for its guests. In the morning, kids will be able to enjoy many fun activities and enrol in a fun Easter Egg Hunt in the Hotel’s gardens. The lucky ones who find one of the three hidden golden eggs will win one special prize on this occasion. For lunch time, guests can experience a unique brunch buffet at La Véranda restaurant with live music, on Sunday, April 21 and on Monday, April 22, 2019.
