In a world where virtual connections have become the new reality, it has never been more important to reconnect with colleagues, clients and partners in real and meaningful ways. Located in the lush countryside, just minutes away from both the Chiang Mai International Airport and the city centre, Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai welcome guests with dynamic venues and fine dining, along with thoughtful touches that make each meeting or event memorable.

“Combine your business retreats or meetings with quality time to reconnect with nature,” shares Anthony Gill, General Manager Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai and Tented Camp Golden Triangle. “Our Conference Services team will take care of all the essentials, from custom menus to engaging group activities, helping attendees stay focused and productive to run ‘meetings with a difference.’”

The Resort features more than 25,338 square feet (2,354 square metres) of indoor and outdoor meeting space including private villas and orchid gardens, surrounded by emerald rice fields and mountain views.  “Bringing conversations out of the office not only gives a new perspective, but also provides the space and opportunity to focus while the mind is relaxed in a calm setting,” he adds.

The Venues

With a wide-range of pavilions and luxury villas with vaulted ceilings and covered verandas, each of the accommodation offers with breath-taking views over the rice fields and the peaks of Doi Suthep. The traditional Thai architecture extends to the covered meeting venues including the open-plan Rachawadee Residence with views of the Resort’s lush tropical gardens, and the bright and airy Kasalong Pavilion. “The Lanna Terrace, adjacent to the Cooking School, offers both open and covered areas for private functions,” explains Pimsupang Busapapong, Conference Services & Sales Manager.

Located on the edge of the Resort’s lily pond, The Cocktail Lawn serves as the perfect venue for outdoor events, overlooking the lush rice fields. “Filled with exotic orchids and tropical ferns, the Orchid Garden and Lawn provides a fairly-tale setting for close gatherings,” she adds. Tucked away with access to the Private Retreats, the Orchid Garden offers privacy and seclusion while still offering an extensive outdoor setting.

Social events are made perfect at the Private Retreats, featuring expansive living spaces and a large deck with a private pool – perfect for a private BBQ. The spacious dining and lounging areas are suited for executive conferences, cocktails reception and incentive events. Whether it is casual cocktails or dinner, the open-air Rice Barn alongside Chaan Baan create a sense of intimacy while still enjoying a natural outdoor setting.

Themed Experiences

Highlighting the diversity of Northern Thailand, the themed experiences at the Resort offer an insight into the rich local culture of the region. “Guests can choose from four different themes, depending on the group size and the kind of experience they would like,” shares Pimsupang.

The Chiang Mai Night Market is lively and colourful, bringing the local flavour of the famous night market into the Resort’s setting. With dancers, drums, crafts people and even local street food, there’s a special evening waiting to be discovered.

For a touch of tradition, the Truly Thai experience showcases traditional dancers and a spectacular floral display highlighted by the releasing of krathongs or floating candles into the Resort’s pond.

Another experience that offers meaningful connections is the Farm to Table Dinner, relying on the Resort’s sustainability initiatives and collaboration with local partners. “For pass-around canapes through dinner, our ingredients such as the herbs and edible flowers, are hand-picked from our chef's garden,” shares Pimsupang. The rustic, yet chic setup of the Well Feeling and Rice Journey themes highlight the very core of the Resort’s experiences.

Resort Activities

“Let our local experts craft an enriching itinerary of both on- and off-site activities, tailored to your group’s size and preferences – many made possible through our exclusive partnerships in the local community,” adds Pimsupang. From a rice planting race and group yoga lesson, to a culinary competition, the activities are designed to offer meaningful connections – with nature, the destination and oneself. “Our focus is team-building, but without the need for flipcharts and whiteboards,” she smiles.

Lead With Care

“As always, the health and safety of our employees and guests is paramount,” shares Anthony. The Resort has received Amazing Thailand Safety and Health Administration (SHA) certificate, which is given to venues and businesses that have public health measures in place for COVID-19 along with the SHA Plus Certification, which confirms that more than 70 percent of employees in the organization are fully vaccinated. In addition, the Resort has also received SHA Extra Plus (SHA++) certificate for its partnership with certified hospitals. “Whether as an event requirement, for added safety at in-person gatherings, or simply for peace of mind, our Resort can facilitate medical services for guests through a third-party provider,” Pimsupang confirms.

“We look forward to welcoming you back to enjoy the beautiful countryside of Mae Rim valley – with utmost care,” says Anthony.

Valid until December 20, 2022, the Resort offers up to 20 percent off for group bookings with complimentary guest rooms, accommodation upgrades, and more. Request a proposal or contact +66 (2) 207 8999 to begin planning today.
