Fringed by the snow-capped Alps, Geneva Old Town is a delight, with pretty snow-dusted squares and cobbled streets harbouring traditional restaurants, elegant boutiques, art galleries and museums. Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues is ideally located on the shores of Lake Geneva, a stone’s throw away from the city’s independent shops and charming Christmas markets, making it the perfect base to enjoy some Christmas shopping and savour the unique festive atmosphere of the city.

The magic of Christmas flows through the Hotel’s interiors, immersing guests in a fabled dreamlike world. The Hotel is bedecked in glittering decorations, with a spectacular Christmas tree at the heart of the lobby adorned with lights and sparkling baubles. To celebrate the holiday season, Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues is offering a number of special experiences to reconnect with loved ones.

Le Chalet des Etoiles aux Bergues

Inspired by a traditional carnotzet, the Chalet des Etoiles aux Bergues is a stylish pop-up retreat on the Hotel rooftop offering panoramic views of the lake and snow-capped mountains. Guests can cosy up under warm blankets amid furry rugs, faux-fur cushions and throws, and tuck into a hearty fondue or raclette - either traditional or with a gourmet twist.  Vintage skis, wreaths and twinkling lights create a cosy mountain feel, while snug alcoves provide plenty of warmth, perfect for an intimate tête-à-tête with friends, colleagues or loved ones.

Il Lago Restaurant

At Michelin-starred Il Lago, which serves authentic Italian dishes following age-old recipes, Chef Massimiliano Sena has crafted exquisite menus to spoil guests this holiday season, with a fabulous selection of wintery dishes including cream of squash and buffalo ricotta; veal cheek, squash chutney and Alba white truffle; and an exquisite Christmas log made with chocolate and hazelnuts. To celebrate the New Year, the chef will dazzle diners with luscious creations, including a lobster, foie gras and carrot starter; and a melt-in-the-mouth turbot dish served with cauliflower, Piedmont chestnuts and Alba white truffle. Guests can soak up the festive buzz in the elegant dining room, which features soft blue colour palettes and magnificent Neapolitan Renaissance works of art.

Restaurant Izumi

At Izumi, the Hotel’s Japanese fusion restaurant serving authentic Nikkei dishes, Chef Mitsu Tsukada has created a magical menu available throughout December 2021, with mouth-watering grilled langoustines in spicy butter served with yuzu sauce; and a melt-in-your-mouth wagyu beef rossini. A special caviar cocktail creation will also be available throughout December.

Guests can ring in the New Year with a decadent set menu featuring the likes of nigiris and scallop tempura with Jerusalem artichoke puree. To enhance the atmosphere of the holiday season, the chef will offer a selection of dishes celebrating tuna and caviar.

Strolling musicians will provide live music performances at the Hotel’s three dining outlets, with merry tunes creating a lively, sophisticated ambience.

Bar des Bergues

The bar’s regular menu will be enhanced with scrumptious seasonal fare, with an array of dishes prepared using the season’s much-prized truffle. From November 20, 2021, guests can savour a decadent hot chocolate with white truffle cream served with a butter-infused white truffle biscuit. Expert mixologists shake up comforting winter warmers, such as mulled wine and hot toddies – perfect to enjoy on a cold and snowy evening.

Christmas Yule Log Takeaway Offer

Pastry Chef Jean-Marie Roger will once again tantalise the taste buds of children and adults alike with his indulgent Yule log to enjoy in the comfort of one’s home. Pure Venezuelan chocolate combines with crunchy roasted hazelnuts from Bourgogne, with subtle tangy notes of candied lemon.

Spa Mont-Blanc’s Winter Collaboration with Brunello Cucinelli

Spread out over the top two floors of the Hotel, the Spa at Mont Blanc is a haven of peace where guests can indulge and prepare for the festive season with pampering Spa experiences.

From November 22, 2021 to January 10, 2022, the Spa will offer a warm and cosy atmosphere to celebrate the festive season, with unique decor created in collaboration with Brunello Cucinelli Home Collection. The Spa treatment rooms are deeply cocooning, with all immersive décor designed to awaken the five senses and create an authentic holiday feel.

Guests can get ready for the Christmas season with rejuvenating facials that leave the skin healthy and glowing throughout the winter months. As cold temperatures and dry air sap the skin of its oils, leaving the skin feeling dry, the Spa has created an energising massage that uses hot aromatherapy oils to soothe and rejuvenate. Along with the rituals listed on the Spa menu, guests can unwind with a 50-minute Swiss cocoa body wrap by Dr Burgener, designed to nourish and rehydrate tired skin.

A selection of Spa gifts is also available, with a range of experiences to choose from.
