Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Geneva has launched Teen Hub, a cool and funky space where teens can chill out and relax together. Comprising two separate rooms, it’s a great teen hang-out space where young guests can hide away from parents and enjoy some privacy and a little fun with other like-minded kids.

The Zone Out Lounge is equipped with high tech video gaming consoles including PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and Xbox, with designated lounge areas and sofas to zone out and unwind. Adorned with colourful wall murals, the Games Room is a chillout area where teenagers can play board games, watch films, play table football and move to lively tracks and dance choreographies with Just Dance. Both rooms feature quirky and lively décor, with disco balls and seating featuring vibrant splashes of colour.

Available for 12- to 17-year-olds and pre-bookable in two-hour slots, Teen Hub is open throughout the day from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. In keeping with Covid guidelines, six teenagers are allowed to use the facilities at any one time.

Upon request, Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Concierge can organise a range of activities, from watersports to classes on a variety of topics, to fully experience Geneva in summer. Children can indulge in some chocolate-inspired creativity with fun and interactive chocolate making workshops, sampling a range of delectable chocolates, learning all about chocolate production from bean to bar, and handmaking indulgent treats with Chocolatier du Rhone’s expert chocolatiers. Occasionally and based on availability, young guests can also book a sushi workshop with renowned Chef Mitsu Tsukada, the expert chef behind the Hotel’s acclaimed Izumi restaurant. Sporty types can book a boxing training session at the Spa, while keen horologists will love Geneva’s Patek Philippe Museum, which houses a collection of more than 2,000 exhibits from the 16th century until the present day. Youngsters wishing to cruise around town and explore the sights in a fun and quirky way can do so on a Taxi Bike, a stylish pedal-powered rickshaw that zips customers around town, offering plenty of eco-friendly fun. Teenagers looking for some mental stimulation can rack their brains as they try and solve puzzles, understand clues and work together before their time is up at Geneva’s three Escape Rooms.

As well as cultural and culinary experiences, guests can make the most of Geneva and the wider area with outdoor activities that take in the beauty of the surrounding alpine landscape. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy some stand up paddle, foil surfing, wakeboarding, windsurfing and wingsurfing at Tropical Corner, one of Switzerland’s largest SUP centres and Geneva’s best windsurfing centre. Not to be missed is Alaïa Bay, a spectacular spot at the foot of some of Europe’s best ski resorts that is home to the first surfing wave pool in Europe, with more than 8,300 square metres (90,000 square feet) dedicated to surfing. The centre also offers surfboard-making workshops, where young surfers can learn how to make boards, learn shaping techniques, and even take their own handmade board home.

Set on the tranquil shores of Lake Geneva, Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues offers the perfect base to reconnect with friends and family. Families booking a room or suite enjoy 50 percent off a second guest room for children under the age of 18. The rate includes daily breakfast, welcome amenities for little ones, complimentary dining for children under the age of 6, and 50 percent off dining for children aged 6 to 12.
