Spa Mont Blanc at Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Geneva welcomes renowned skincare brand Esse to Switzerland for the very first time. Priding itself on its in-depth personalised approach to beauty and anti-ageing, the Spa will now offer a selection of treatments by skincare brand Esse, making it the only Spa in Switzerland to offer Esse skincare treatments and products.

Founded in 2002 by South African chemist Trevor Steyn, Esse pioneered a range of products based around the skin microbiome, and launch the world’s first live probiotic skincare product in 2015. The use of chemicals, pollutants and antibiotics in modern life has disrupted the skin’s natural microbial balance. Esse seeks to rewild the skin through biotechnology, building barrier function to restore the skin’s ecology and allow its natural microbial diversity to thrive. Ethical and sustainable, Esse is certified organic, vegan and PETA accredited, as well as being carbon and plastic neutral.

Among the rituals available at the Spa is the Signature Esse Experience Facial, a treatment that allows the use of live probiotics and specialised massage protocols to elevate the skin. This rejuvenating treatment, available in 60 or 75 minutes, reduces inflammation and renews the skin, enhancing barrier function and targeting the signs of ageing by restoring microbial balance. The 75 minutes facial includes an ampoule with 5 billion living probiotics, which offers incredible results. Guests can choose from an anti-inflammatory or lifting massage designed to enhance results and promote relaxation. Esse products are available for purchase from the Spa boutique, allowing guests to maintain a post-facial glow and build on their results at home.

Spread out over the top three floors of the Hotel, Spa Mont Blanc is a haven of peace, with large windows commanding panoramic views of Geneva and the surrounding snow-capped mountains. Renowned for its range of high performing treatments, the Spa features a hammam, heated indoor swimming pool and vitality pool with water jets to help relieve tired and aching muscles while improving circulation and detoxifying the skin.
