Introducing Wellness Recharge, a Three-Night Retreat at Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai, Hoi An

Continuing its ethos of nurturing mind, body and spirit, Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai launches its 2023 Green Season retreat: Wellness Recharge – an immersive three-night experience that is the latest addition to The Heart of the Earth Spa’s program of healing, connection and mindfulness.

“Our aim with Wellness Recharge is to give people the opportunity to disconnect from the demands of their daily life,” says Spa Manager Oanh Ngo. “We take our commitment to the concept of ‘retreat’ very seriously. So, we provide guests with the time and space to refresh their senses, reconnect with each other, and find peace and stillness. These are priceless gifts.”

The retreat includes three of The Heart of The Earth Spa’s signature rituals. In the first of these, the Crystal Singing Bowl Experience, eight synchronised quartz crystal bowls tuned to the harmonic frequency of the universe (432 Hz) ring in a hypnotic serenade; the resulting vibrations immerse the listener in a bath of soul-soothing softness.

The second ritual, Nam Hai Earth Song, also begins with a crystal singing bowl experience to calm the mind and body, followed by an aura-clearing smudge of Vietnamese agarwood, followed by a body scrub and bath using herbs from the Nam Hai Resort garden. Next is a bespoke massage, with therapists using tension-melting homemade ginger paste on the spine, and a gem-tipped tuning fork placed on acupuncture points to shift blocked energy. The treatment concludes with a crystal singing bowl sound bath.

The final ritual is the Cocooning Meditation. Wrapped in a weightless hanging silk hammock, guests are guided through breathwork and soothing imagery to impart a deep sense of calm and total relaxation. All of the treatments work on the body’s subtle energies, helping retreat participants to release old emotional wounds and let go of anxiety and worry.

In addition to the services included in the Wellness Recharge retreat, guests are welcome to practice meditation and yoga, as well as Tai Chi and other wellness rituals and classes. They are also invited to explore the grounds of the Resort and Ha My Beach, considered the best in Vietnam by Forbes Travel Guide. For adventures further afield, transport can be arranged to any or all of the three nearby UNESCO World Heritage sites.
