Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong Sparks Art Frenzy

March is the month where art blooms at Art Basel and Art Central, the most established art fairs in Hong Kong, bringing world class artistic expression to the city. Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong cultivates outlets for creativity with its Sunday Art Basel Afternoon Tea and new Nail Bar offerings.

Interactive Sunday Afternoon Tea

Afternoon tea at Four Seasons has always been a favourite past time among discerning tea-drinkers. On every Sunday of March 2019, Executive Pastry Chef Ringo Chan offers an interactive afternoon tea buffet experience that expresses his creativity through sweet delights. On top of the traditional pastries served on the three-tier stand, Chef Chan creates a playful spread of desserts that stimulate the imagination.

"Buildings Forest" is his interpretation of the Hong Kong urban jungle, using cream and sugar as his brick and mortar paving the way to civilisation. "Let Me Free" is an edible art piece where almond cookies with bird paintings are placed inside a bird cage. Guests are encouraged to take the biscuit out and complete the art work with edible pastel tubes of “paint.”

The Art Basel Afternoon Tea is available every Sunday of March, the first seating starts from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and the second seating is from 4:15 to 6:00 pm. The price per person will be HKD 438, subject to 10 percent service charge.

Privatise the Nail Bar and enjoy an intimate manicure and pedicure party before delving into the art events around town. The package includes the Art Basel themed afternoon tea to satisfy the appetite before a long night of socialising. The price of the nail party is priced at HKD 10,000 on weekdays and HKD 10,800 on Fridays and Public Holidays. The price for a 75 minute luxury manicure starts from HKD 800, prices are subject to 10 percent service charge.
