Fall in Love with Thailand’s "Coconut Island" at Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui

Enjoy the fourth night with the Resort’s compliments when booking the Island Romance package

March 9, 2020,
Koh Samui, Thailand

“Idyllic, is how I describe Koh Samui!” smiles Sean Mosher, General Manager. Having grown up by the sea, his love for the island is easily explained. Popularly known as "coconut island," Koh Samui offers guests an away-from-it-all experience, while Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui provides the much-needed seclusion and privacy that highlight a perfect vacation. Spending quality time in a private pool villa for two, overlooking an endless vista of ocean blue, free flowing champagne aboard a private cruise, and romantic starlit dinners on the beach, island indulgence at Four Seasons Koh Samui means just that - idyllic.

As the Chief Concierge at the Resort, Kantinan Wanna plans couples’ getaways as well as family escapes to the last detail, making sure guests truly immerse in the tropical island life. She picks her top three experiences that’ll make couples fall in love with Thailand’s pristine coconut island:

Cruise the Gulf of Thailand

Guests can bask on one the world’s most picturesque beaches, dine on Thai delicacies and experience a spa treatment without stepping foot off the Resort. “But if you would like to explore further afield, the Resort’s palatial 20-metre (65 foot) luxury yacht Minor Affair offers the very best explorations of the Gulf of Thailand,” Kantinan says.

Guests can cruise the sparkling waters of Angthong National Marine Park in the Resort’s Sunseeker Manhattan 60 vessel, visiting deserted beaches, rainforest-fringed islands and colourful marine life. Swim, snorkel and sunbathe all day before a chef-prepared barbecue on a private beach and a restful night in a comfortable stateroom. “There’s nothing better than the sunset champagne cruise to surprise loved ones, as the sun disappear behind palm-covered tropical islands and another perfect day in paradise,” she shares.

Dine with Toes Tucked into the Sand

A fine dining experience in the comfort and convenience of the guest villa is as private and romantic as a "Once in a Blue Moon" dinner for two, surrounded by the shade of palm trees and the gentle sound of waves. Guests can indulgein a romantic dinner at the Resort’s private cove, with a menu curated specially for the occasion, paired with wines and aphrodisiacs to celebrate their love for the island life. “No one has ever said ‘no’ to the question ‘will you marry me’ when marriage has been proposed at this dinner,” Kantinan quips.

For Siam Lovers and a Sunset Connection

From flower-fragranced outdoor baths to flowing massages for two, The Secret Garden Spa offers a range of couple experiences inspired by the lush tropical landscape. “Siam Lovers is a luscious ritual combining homegrown herbs and the harmonious hands of four therapists,” says Kantinan. Starting with a coconut and jasmine rice scrub, followed by Earth Energy Four Hands massage, guests can choose to have the coconut and rose bath in the Spa’s al fresco setting, or in the privacy of their villa.

A blissful flowing massage followed by a flower-fragranced bath beneath the forest canopy, Sunset Connection is the perfect way to unwind and rejuvenate. An intense full-body massage with warm oil is followed by a warm bath infused with tropical flowers to set the perfect mood for an evening of romance and celebration.

Island Romance

“We’re excited to showcase the very best of the island experience through a special package that includes a complimentary fourth night stay,” shares Sean. The experience includes a spa credit valued at THB 3,000, a private dinner on the beach, Just the Two of Us private cinema, and more.

The package may be booked online or by emailing Reservations reservationsthailand@fourseasons.com
