Come together with loved ones at Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur to celebrate the season of togetherness and gratitude from April 3 to May 2, 2022 – the festive month before Hari Raya. Curated by Celebrity Chef Dato’ Fazley Yaakob, Sajian Tradisi Kita (“a taste of culture”) lights up the dinner table with love, nostalgia and regional Malaysian flavours.

“This is a very special time of year to renew connections with family and friends, and sharing a meaningful meal together is one of the best ways to do so,” comments General Manager Alex Porteous. “In addition to the thoughtful menus designed by Chef Dato’ Fazley, our team’s long-standing culinary expertise led by Executive Chef Junious Dickerson and warm hospitality make each dining experience even more memorable.”

Sajian Tradisi Kita – Festive Dinner

Hosted in the welcoming, action-packed setting of Curate, this month-long culinary experience offers the ideal opportunity to create new memories with near and dear ones.

Chef Dato’ Fazley takes diners on a flavourful Malaysian sojourn with classic recipes drawn from different regions and communities. Dishes showcase ingredients and techniques from around the country, tracing a route from the eastern lands of Sabah-Sarawak to the southern coast of Johor, through the central highlands of Pahang and all the way north to Kedah and Perlis.

With such a wide variety of tastes on offer, diners will not only find their personal favourites but also have the chance to discover unusual specialties – a delicious way for family members of all age-groups to experience the diversity of Malaysian culture.

Savour regional crafted creations such as Nasi Kebuli Kambing (roasted whole lamb with spices served with raisin rice pilaf) and Itik Golek Pekan (carved coconut-marinated smoked duck with pickled jalapenos). Also on the menu are regional delights such as Telur Pindang Rainbow (century eggs cooked in heritage Johor style) and Lepat Loi (glutinous rice wrapped in banana leaf, a staple of the Bugis community). And what would Ramadan be without the comforting taste of Gear Box Soup (Soup Kali Umbu)?

Alongside Malaysian fare, diners can choose from a dizzying range of international delicacies: Indian tandoors and curries, mezze from the Arabian Peninsula, modern European, and global classics from the around the world. The scrumptious dessert menu features a celebratory selection of dates and an array of signature Kuehs, handcrafted by Chef Dato’ Fazley.

Talented Four Seasons chefs dazzle diners with their skills at live counters, while an array of seafood on ice lends a coastal flair to dinnertime. This special culinary experience also invites diners to interact with Chef Dato’ Fazley himself.

“Nothing unites us Malaysians more than hearing ‘makan time,’” says Chef with a smile. “At our dining table, the joy of family complements every bite.”
