Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos at Costa Palmas will once again open its doors to guests on June 26, 2020. Located just 45 minutes from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) on the opposite coast from the Cabo crowds, the Resort sits on two miles (3.2 kilometres) of pristine beachfront within the thousand acre (400 hectare) private resort community of Costa Palmas.

At more than an hour away from any other major resorts, the property offers open-air public spaces including the lobby and almost all dining venues, a low-lying architectural footprint with no need for shared elevators or hallways, six pools and a two-mile swimmable beach that allows for excessive space to spread out and relax. All guest rooms offer views of the Sea of Cortez and expansive private terraces, and all first floor guest rooms include private plunge pools.

Isolated from the tourist corridor, the East Cape is rich in nature and ripe with wide-open-space adventures from hikes to hidden waterfalls and endless desert dune off-roading, to snorkeling in one of the most biologically diverse bodies of water in the world, or setting sail out of the Resort’s private marina.

“The East Cape is Mexico’s best-kept secret,” says Borja Manchado, General Manager, Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos at Costa Palmas. “Our access to nature and ability to take up space is unapparelled in Los Cabos; we are absolutely thrilled to share this retreat with our beloved guests once again.”

In addition to the Resort’s idyllic location, Four Seasons has embarked on an enhanced global health and safety program, Lead With Care, which bolsters the brand’s already stringent health and safety policies and procedures. Grounded in health care expertise and enabled by access to leading experts, technologies and tools, Lead With Care sets out clear procedures that educate and empower employees to take care of guests and each other. The program is focused on providing care, confidence and comfort within the new COVID-19 environment and beyond.

The Resort, which will soon obtain Punto Limpio (Clean Point) certification from Mexico’s federal government, has appointed dedicated personnel who will rotate throughout the property daily, cleaning high touch areas using only products that are EPA approved to fight COVID-19; guest rooms are thoroughly cleaned with the same products and will remain vacant for 24 hours in between guests where possible; restaurants will operate with limited capacities to allow for social distancing and will utilise QR codes in lieu of printed menus; all employees will wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in line with the latest guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC); Lead With Care kits will be placed in each guest room providing masks, hand sanitizer and sanitization wipes. Hand sanitizer will also be readily available at the Front Desk and Concierge stations, in restaurants, and in all other public spaces, and all guests will receive thermal screening tests upon check-in. Four Seasons App and Chat also provides guests with real-time, contactless interactions with employees from their own device on nine global platforms and in 100+ different languages.
