A Spring Beyond Egg-Spectations at Four Seasons Resort Marrakech

April 1, 2022,
Marrakech, Morocco

Backdropped by the beauty of the Atlas mountains, Marrakech is a must-visit during springtime. In the calm and lush oasis settings of Four Seasons Resort Marrakech, spring celebrations will mark Easter holidays with a gourmet brunch designed to strengthen family bonds and an itinerary of kid-friendly activities to enchant young guests.

Marrakech in Full Bloom

It is in Marrakech that the art of large gardens was born in the 12th century, a new style, with immense orchards, large basins, pavilions, walls and enclosures. The creators of these gardens were able to create paradise in a desert site. In addition to the Imperial parks of the Menara and the Agdal, which are designated as World Heritage Sites, Marrakech has other styles of gardens such as those found in the Bahia and the Badii Palaces or the 400 year old Jardin Secret. Less extensive but still more refined, the plethora of Riyads, Jnans and Arsa gardens, designed with fountains, stunning Moroccan tiles (zellij), trees and flowers, offer elaborate and intimate compositions.

Steps away from the Resort, stroll around the modern gardens of the city and discover fragrant paradises in the heart of Marrakech, such as the urban gardens of Hivernage and Gueliz, the botanical Anima park, the Palmeraie Oasis, the Cactus Thiemann park or the iconic Jardin Majorelle, one of the most beautiful gardens in the world, designed by the painter Jacques Majorelle and former home of Yves Saint Laurent.

An Iconic Moroccan Resort

Framed by the Atlas mountains and surrounded by Moroccan gardens, the iconic Four Seasons Resort Marrakech was originally an olive grove dating back to the 12th century. Just five minutes from the bustling Medina and in the middle of the stylish and cosmopolitan neighbourhoods of Marrakech, the Resort blends history with modern Moroccan design for a chic feel in the middle of 16 hectares (40 acres) of private gardens and swimming pools, allowing guests to stay amid idyllic scenery.

Feel immersed in authentic Moroccan culture and unwind in total comfort with legendary Four Seasons Beds in the wide array of pavilions, suites and guest rooms that the Resort offers. Connect with the outdoors on a private terrace, featuring views of the gardens, pools and the snow-capped Atlas mountains. The feel is light and airy, blending Moroccan tradition and contemporary comfort like nowhere else.

The Resort’s ideal location makes it the perfect home base to explore vibrant Marrakech and its captivating history and landscapes. The Resort team breathes fresh life into quintessential activities, offering a crafted selection of “Only in Four Seasons Resort Marrakech” experiences.

Kids Rock Their Own Kasbah

A great line-up of activities keeps kids busy and happy, so the grown-ups can enjoy a well-deserved timeout. Easter celebration is a memorable and long-awaited time of the year not only for adults but also for children. On Sunday afternoon, the dedicated Moroccan kasbah-style Kids Club will host an exciting Easter Egg Hunt for the little ones. This much-loved Easter tradition will see children following clues to find chocolate treats hidden around the gardens of the Resort. Young resident guests and families with restaurant reservations will receive a little Easter basket to collect their eggs.

Family Pool and Adult Quiet Pool

In between exciting activities, families can spend quality time together at the beautifully landscaped and heated Family Pool, with a free-form design incorporating shallow alcoves for creative play. The 35-metre (115-foot) outdoor swimming pool is a much-loved favourite among younger guests.

On the other side of our Oasis gardens, the restful Quiet Pool provides a calm oasis complete with private cabanas and intimate lounge chairs. Enjoy laps, leisurely swims and undisturbed relaxation.

Chef Nicola Rossi's passion for the flavours of the ocean and the freshness of Moroccan products will be presented through a seafood corner (salmon, oysters and more), a salads and appetizers of the world section, and a BBQ section for grills, brochettes, fish of the day, and more.

Asian flavours will not be outdone with as sushi station and thematic corners covering India and China, or the Middle East with a shawarma corner and other Levantine specialities such as kebab, falafel, and hummus.

The most gourmand will be seduced by the decadent assortment of sweets inspired by the ancestral traditions of Morocco, including gazelle horns, pastillas, ghoribas, mhencha, chebakia, briouates, harcha, msemen, baghrir, sellou, and amlou; and fabulous pastries created for the occasion by Chef Anouar Ait Abdelaali, including orange cake, dirty caramel cake, tropezienne, vanilla rice, pastries, cheese cakes, fruit tarts, meringue tarts and more.
