Hawaii, Maui, U.S.A.

Because nothing nurtures relationships like having new experiences together, the iconic Four Seasons Resort Maui invites couples to revel in a selection of imaginative experiences designed to create a deeper journey, in a way that only Four Seasons Maui can. Led by interesting and dynamic employees and partners, and set against the stunning backdrop of Maui, these experiences make their debut during Couples Season, this September through November 2017.

“The Resort has always been committed to offering a long list of activities, many complimentary, to our guests, especially during Couples Season,” says Regional Vice President and General Manager Jean Claude Wietzel.  “This year, we are excited to unveil new experiences driven by what is truly at the heart of our Resort - our people.  Their passions and skills are diverse, and I’m confident they will leave a lasting impression.”

While quintessentially Maui activities like snorkeling, outrigger canoe paddling and stand-up paddleboarding are available as always, the special Couples Season experiences include:

Hawaiian Star Stories

Famed navigator Kala Baybayan Tanaka and guests “talk story” over after dinner drinks, as she recounts the brave history of ancient Polynesian wayfinders, who used only the stars, wind and currents to find their way to the Hawaiian islands.

Somm Series

Guests discover the private world of rising “somms” in this late-night series where they join the Resort’s young sommeliers in a personal behind-the-scenes, industry-style tasting.

Fotog Fridays

Professional adventure photographer Daniel Sullivan has spent his life behind a lens and the last several years capturing every inch of Maui’s dramatic coastline.  Now, he shares the secrets behind his artistry with guests in a two-hour interactive sunset photography tour of the island’s stunning southern shore.  Social media “likes” are guaranteed.

Sip & Swirl

Glass expert Resort Manager Martin Dell enthralls guests, revealing his unique knowledge of wine glass shapes and the effect on taste in this unusual and unforgettable glass tasting session.

Poke Pop-Up

Guests gather with Resort staff to sample Hawaii’s most popular food trend that is sweeping the nation, poke, which is expertly paired with Maui Brewing Co.’s handcrafted beer, at the Poke Pop-Up party.

Rosé & Lei

The island’s most gorgeous blooms will be transformed into lei po’o (head lei) masterpieces during the Resort’s Instagrammable Rosé & Lei class, where guests are encouraged to let their creativity shine.

Sabering Ceremony

Awesome Maui sunsets are celebrated with a sommelier-led champagne sabering ceremony at the Resort’s beachfront champagne and oyster pop-up bar. Cheers!

Sushi 101

Chef Kela Lau Hee shares authentic Japanese techniques with guests during her weekly hands-on sushi and sake class.
