Four Seasons Hotel Montreal, as well as its Spa Four Seasons Montreal, have both been awarded a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star award. Forbes Travel Guide is the only global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants and spas, and it has offered a sneak peek at select winners from its upcoming 2021 annual Star Awards.

"We are thrilled to celebrate this important accolade, received thanks to the continuous effort made by our Hotel's biggest asset - our team.  They are dedicated and passionate individuals committed to delivering an exceptional guest experience. " says David Wilkie, Four Seasons Hotel Montreal General Manager.

Opened in 2019, Four Seasons Hotel Montreal brings together both locals and visitors to the heart of the Golden Square Mile, just steps away from Montreal’s best shops, galleries, restaurants and museums. The 18-storey building that houses Four Seasons Hotel Montreal was designed by Lemay and Sid Lee Architecture. The Hotel’s chic interiors by designers Gilles & Boissier in collaboration with Philip Hazan are a stark contrast to the building’s sleek façade. Graceful and sensual, the 169 guest rooms are imbued with modern classicism, bathed in comforting colours of cloud white, with ethereal backlighting, smooth velvet textures, mirrored surfaces, swathes of marble and bronze, and gold and dark wood accents.

The third floor, the Hotel’s heartbeat, houses an open-concept space designed by Montreal design firm Atelier Zébulon Perron, that encompasses both the Hotel’s lobby as well as MARCUS Restaurant + Terrace and MARCUS Bar + Lounge, a reinvention of the traditional brasserie with a seafood focus by restaurateur and celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson. The interiors are further enhanced by a carefully curated collection of works by local and international artists, including Pascale Girardin’s floral-inspired installation cascading down the building’s open-air atrium.

Guests can also experience the award-wining Spa Four Seasons Montreal, which was previously bestowed the 2020 Forbes Five Star Spa award. Spa Four Seasons Montreal is an urban oasis that stands out for its refined taste, and use of exclusive products by local and international brands, such as Omorovicza, 111SKIN, and JB Skin Guru. The results-oriented therapies and indulgent pampering are offered by highly trained therapists who adapt each treatment to individual needs. They include the only Kneipp Hydrotherapy facility with a stone path in Canada, a treatment involving a natural reflexology walk over polished stones to massage acupressure points on the foot, along with an interplay of hot and cold water on the skin. In addition to its eight private treatment rooms, the Spa offers relaxing pre and post-treatment areas that include an interior sky-lit swimming pool and a modern steam room and sauna space.

Forbes Travel Guide, the world-renowned expert in genuine Five-Star service, announced its 2020 Star Awards in February, and is now adding to the prestigious award winners list by revealing some 2021 winners early to provide getaway inspiration as travel resumes post-quarantine. The early winners for 2021 were inspected before COVID-19 closures.

As Four Seasons Hotel Montreal welcomes guests back to the Golden Square Mile, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts introduces its Lead With Care program and its enhanced health and safety measures. Grounded in healthcare expertise and enabled by access to leading technologies and tools, the Lead With Care program is focused on delivering the utmost care, confidence and comfort to all Four Seasons guests, residents and employees.
