MARCUS Restaurant by celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson, designed by Atelier Zébulon Perron at the newly opened Four Seasons Hotel Montreal, has received the 2019 Toque d’Or Tastet Award for the Most Beautiful New Restaurant. The Toques are awarded by popular vote, following a nomination process by the editors and food writers at the influential Montreal gastronomy blog, Tastet.ca.

The Tastet accolade comes on the footsteps of MARCUS’ and Atelier Zébulon Perron’s winning the 2019 Eater Design of the Year Award and their nomination to the 2019 Surface Travel Award for best restaurant design in a hotel or resort. The Eater awards highlight the best restaurants in North America’s most influential food cities. The Surface Travel Awards, which have become one of the most prestigious honours in the design and travel industries, recognise the best new spaces experienced by travellers each year.

Since its opening, MARCUS has garnered the attention of world-class publications, including Forbes, Forbes Travel Guide, MAXIM magazine, DeeZeen, and AD France, as well as a spot on Condé Nast Traveler’s 22 Best Restaurants in Montreal.

MARCUS Restaurant and MARCUS Lounge have become Montreal’s hottest dining and nightlife destination with a unique offering within its Social Square, in the heart of the city’s famous Golden Square Mile. Located inside the recently inaugurated Four Seasons Hotel Montreal, MARCUS is a reinvented brasserie concept centred on fish, seafood and fresh vegetables. The ideal place for a lively all-day crowd of local and international diners.
