Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley and Big Green Egg Welcome the Summer Season with Celebratory BBQ Festivities

Tickets are live for a weekend of Father’s Day grilling events with special guest Jack Arnold, Big Green Egg’s barbecue specialist and pitmaster

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley will kick off wine country’s summer season with a weekend of dynamic al fresco dining and barbecuing. In partnership with Jack Arnold, Big Green Egg’s barbecue specialist and pitmaster, the Resort will host a celebratory Father’s Day weekend across two afternoons – Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19, 2022 – with live entertainment, barbecue demonstrations by Jack, and a special menu in collaboration with the talented culinary team at TRUSS Restaurant + Bar, the Resort’s spirited open-air dining destination.

The weekend will feature a menu of elevated comfort fare served family-style, including a variety of sausages and pretzels, grilled vegetable salad, premium wagyu beef from Iowa-based family-owned ranch KOW Steaks, lobster mac n’ cheese, pork ribs, corn on the cob, summer squash, curry cole slaw, and jalapeno corn bread. Desserts by Executive Pastry Chef Josh Gaulin will include summer-fresh glazed an grilled peaches and strawberry shortcake. A live DJ will provide a lively soundtrack on both afternoons while guests and locals enjoy indoor-outdoor dining on the expansive TRUSS terrace, while taking in sweeping views of the lush Calistoga vineyards and Mayacamas mountain range.

To raise a glass with perfectly paired wine, Calistoga-based wineries Frank Family Vineyards and Elusa Winery will join the festivities on Saturday on Sunday, respectively, as the official winery partners. Frank Family Vineyards, the beloved world-class wine producer, will be pouring its 2020 Carneros Chardonnay, 2018 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2016 Brut Rosé sparkling wine. Elusa Winery, the new boutique winery that shares a property with Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley, will be pouring a selection of its small-lot, authentic wines, including the 2019 Elusa Sauvignon Blanc, 2013 Elusa Cabernet Franc, and 2018 Elusa Calistoga Cabernet.

The newly opened Four Seasons Resort Napa Valley offers an idyllic setting to host this celebratory weekend, set amid a working winery and surrounded by acres of vineyards, picturesque forests and majestic mountains.
