Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris is once again shaking up the capital’s gastronomic scene with new and exciting initiatives that allow guests to make the most of the magic of the festive season.

On December 16, 2020, the Hotel will inaugurate its Christmas Pop-Up Boutique managed by Michael Bartocetti, the Hotel’s talented pastry chef, and Eric Beaumard, second best sommelier in the world and iconic director of Le Cinq Restaurant. The talented duo has carefully selected a range of culinary products that make for perfect Christmas gifts, or can be enjoyed straight away.

For the first time in the history of the luxury hotel, Eric Beaumard will open the doors of the George V’s legendary wine cellar, drawing on the fabulous 50,000-bottle collection to offer a selection of 50 exceptional wines, with his most cherished wines featuring alongside renowned grands crus. World-renowned names – Petrus, Haut Brion, Clos de Vougeot, Cristal Roederer – rub shoulders with lesser known finds unearthed by Eric Beaumard, highlighting the richness and diversity of France’s vineyards. The Hotel sommeliers will daily take amateurs on an epicurean journey through France, offering expert advice and suggestions.

Sweet tooths can delve into the mouth-watering world of Michael Bartocetti, who is sure to wow guests with his delectable pastries. As well as his unmissable pink praline brioches and cinnamon rolls infused with a sweet winter scent, there will be a selection of sweet Italian delights crafted with a twist by Simone Zanoni, including panettone and amor polenta, a Lombard speciality dear to both chefs. Discerning chocolate lovers can indulge in deliciously addictive cookies, the chef’s decadent chocolate cocoa puff pastry or his famous chocolate and praline tree. Gourmets will also be able to enjoy the chef’s famous Yule log, available in individual portions.

For those seeking to add to their Christmas wish list or simply to surprise loved ones, gift vouchers can be purchased from the Boutique, with wellness breaks available at the luxurious Spa or gourmet experiences at one of the Hotel’s starred restaurants. For guests wishing to fully immerse themselves in the world of the George V, the Pop-Up Boutique will stock a number of written works, including The Wines of My Life by Sommelier Eric Beaumard, My Italy by Chef Simone Zanoni, and Visionary Floral Art and Design by Jeff Leatham.

New Year’s Eve will also see a number of exceptional bespoke experiences, with a three Michelin-starred dining experience by Chef Christian Le Squer – the first of its kind in Paris. To give everyone the chance to celebrate the festive season in spite of this year’s challenging circumstances, the chef will create a three Michelin-starred menu at Le Cinq. Best of all, this exquisite menu will be home delivered by the chefs themselves, giving guests the unique opportunity to indulge in contemporary and elegant three Michelin-starred cuisine in the comfort of one’s own home.

Open daily from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, the Christmas Pop-Up of Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris will be available from Wednesday, December 16, 2020 to Sunday, January 10, 2021.
