Celebrate the Festive Season in Desert Splendour at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North

With stately saguaro cactus aglow in holiday lights, the inviting scent of juniper drifting from chiminea fireplaces, and beautiful displays of décor to celebrate this special time of year, the festive season is a magical time to visit Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North.

The holiday spirit is also brought to life across the Resort in fun-filled activities for the whole family. Proof, An American Canteen will host Brunch with Santa.  Children will delight in visiting with Santa while grown-ups will enjoy an expanded version of Proof’s delicious brunch. Brunch with Santa will be served from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm on December 15 and 22, 2018. Advance reservations are required. For reservations, call 480 513 5029.

The fun continues with Festive Flicks, in which heartwarming family films are shown at the Resort’s lawn cinema.  Admission is complimentary and includes popcorn and hot cocoa. Festive Flicks will be from 6:00 to 9:00 pm December 27 and 28, 2018. The movies begin at 7:00 pm.

All throughout the festive season, children can stop by the Santa Letter Station in the lobby to write their letters to Kris Kringle.  Featuring a pint-sized writing desk, specially crafted stationery, and a red Santa’s mailbox, the Santa Letter Station will help ensure that little guests’ wishes reach the North Pole in time.

Kids for All Seasons, the Resort’s complimentary year-round family program, also will host a variety of holiday-themed activities for the whole family ranging from s’mores-making to gingerbread house decorating to candy cane hunts.

Festive Dining

Talavera, the Resort’s acclaimed Spanish steakhouse, will bring a touch of Latin flavour to its Christmas Eve menu with special items including savoury spiced beef short rib osso bucco and paella gran campo featuring duck confit, seared foie gras, morcilla sausage, truffle and lemon aioli. For dessert, Talavera will tempt diners with spiced eggnog crema catalina.

On Christmas Day, Talavera’s buffet will offer an impressive display including a raw seafood bar, carving station with roasted porcini and thyme rib roast, rosemary-rubbed leg of lamb and salt-crusted whole snapper, crepes a la orange and seafood ravioli made to order as well as all the delicious side dishes and trimmings. A variety of dessert options will range from spiced eggnog mousse to chocolate caramel bourbon parfait. The Christmas buffet will be served from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm and is priced at USD 115 for adults, and USD 48 for children ages 5 to 12. Reservations are required.

Proof, An American Canteen will celebrate with all-American style specials. On Christmas Eve, seafood lovers will enjoy oysters on the half shell and a lobster boil. Proof also will serve its a la carte menu options and a children’s dinner buffet.

For Christmas Day, Proof will serve an enhanced breakfast and brunch buffet early in the day. A special three-course menu will be presented for dinner. It will feature king crab-stuffed oysters rockefeller, a choice of smoked prime rib or scallop pontchartrain, and gingerbread cake for dessert. Proof’s a la carte menu options and a children’s dinner buffet also will be available for dinner.

During the Yuletide season, guests can treat themselves to even more fun when celebrating with Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale.  Book the Experience More package and receive a USD 100 credit for every two paid consecutive nights.  Special activities also are planned exclusively for guests of the Resort throughout the month of December 2018. Each Friday, guests can enjoy Proof Canteen’s holiday-focused beer tasting.  On Saturdays, Talavera restaurant will host wine and spirit tastings.  On Sundays, Saguaro Blossom Bar will offer Margarita-making demonstrations.
