Four Seasons Hotel Seattle has completed the redesign and refresh of its guest rooms and suites, further establishing the downtown hotel as the best in the city. For the renovation, Four Seasons enlisted Los Angeles-based Wimberly Interiors, who were inspired by the longstanding legacy of Seattle’s enterprising culture and the luxury Four Seasons is known for. The design is rooted in modern luxury and style and residential amenities, while resurfacing the underlying beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

“Seattle is a city of innovators, trending food experiences, and great wine all surrounded by the stunning backdrop of the Pacific Northwest,” says Angelica Palladino, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Seattle. “I’m so excited to see the Hotel evolve with the city, complementing the shift in DNA this city has experienced.”

What has remained is the generous space in each room, which are among one of the largest in the city starting at 449 square feet (44 square metres), and the stunning views of Elliott Bay, the Seattle Great Wheel, Seattle Art Museum and the urban downtown core.

“The guest rooms revolve around the Four Seasons bed, which is highlighted with a rich and highly characterised caramel-tone leather headboard and set against a serene wallcovering with blue, white and grey tones,” continues Palladino. “It signifies the waters of Puget Sound and landscape that surrounds Seattle and the Hotel. The use of raw wood and natural materials throughout the space gives us a sense of place, tying us into the Pacific Northwest.”

The Hotel’s Deluxe Elliott Bay Suites and Corner Elliott Bay Suites are favourites among visiting dignitaries and travellers looking for extra space with separate sleeping and living areas and unrivalled views of the waterfront. The Deluxe Elliott Bay Suites, at 1,190 square feet (111 square metres), feature custom furnishings and a gas fireplace in the living room and a separate area with a custom oak dining table that seats four.

The Corner Elliott Bay Suites are known for their unobstructed views of the Seattle Great Wheel and Elliott Bay from the deep soaking tubs and corner bedrooms. At 795 square feet (74 square metres), these spacious and secluded suites are filled with natural light that bounces off the bay, streaming into the entire space.

Other unique details in the guest rooms and suites include a collection of museum-quality framed reproductions curated by Seattle Art Museum; carpet inspired by the local textures and patterns of Seattle in soft blue tones from Axminster, synonymous with the finest quality British carpet making and craftsmanship for more than 250 years; and a multi-function dining and work round marble table, with American white oak and black oak stain leather chairs. Each guest room also has a comfortable cream-coloured lounge or chair.

Amenities include a fully stocked mini bar with items from local companies; new L'Occitane Almond in-room bath products; and the Hotel’s signature marble bathroom with a deep-soaking tub, glass-enclosed rain shower, toilet and mirror with an integrated television.

To suit today’s traveller, the guest rooms also offer complimentary internet access; Bose Soundbars with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity; 55-inch flat screen TVs with casting and streaming capability; multiple USB ports and easily accessible plugs throughout the room; and two reading lights in a plated brushed black bronze are located over each side of the Four Seasons bed. Finally, the platinum coloured black-out drapes with marshmallow-coloured sheers ease guests into their evening or morning.

The Hotel puts guests in the heart of the city’s downtown, with the Seattle Art Museum on one side, iconic Pike Place Market on another and the waters of Elliott Bay gleaming to the west. Positioned on the first 10 floors of a 21-storey downtown luxury hotel and residential tower, Four Seasons Hotel Seattle offers 147 spacious guest rooms, including 13 luxury suites.

“Just in time for summer, our guests can enjoy the beauty of the city from the redesigned guest rooms and our most popular amenity, the INFINITY pool + bar,” says Palladino.
