For the 21st consecutive year, Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC will proudly host its annual Thanksgiving on the Mayflower event for the city’s first responders working on Thanksgiving Day. The event thanks and gives back to those that loyally serve the local community.

Washington DC’s finest – the men and women who work daily to protect and serve our local community - are invited to pick-up a complimentary gourmet Thanksgiving feast to-go in front of the Hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue on Thanksgiving Day between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. Prepared by the talented Four Seasons culinary team and served by passionate staff and community volunteers, including Regional Vice President and General Manager David Bernand and his executive team, it is a memorable day for all. Hotel employees and their family members will graciously donate their time to serve Thanksgiving meals to-go to the beloved public servants working on Thanksgiving Day.

“It’s more important than ever to personally thank those brave and selfless service men and woman who tirelessly dedicate their lives to the community; this is why Thanksgiving on the Mayflower is one of my favourite Hotel-hosted events,” says Bernand. “It is easy to overlook the fact that our public servants are always sacrificing priceless time with their loved ones to ensure that our community continues to thrive and remain safe.”

BOURBON STEAK DC’s Executive Chef Robert Curtis and his skilled culinary team will prepare the special to-go feasts, including dishes such as slow roasted turkey, oyster stuffing, and green bean casserole. Executive Pastry Chef Yudith Bustos will be in charge of creating assorted desserts.

To date, Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC and its staff have served nearly 7,600 Thanksgiving meals to public servants of the Washington, DC area.
