The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC, a Forbes Four-Star spa and oasis of calm in the heart of Georgetown, offers luxurious and results-driven treatments to locals and Four Seasons Hotel guests alike. Featuring three floors of cutting-edge fitness equipment, including a heated swimming pool and whirlpool, The Spa is a full-service day spa and a haven of relaxation.

“In addition to our superior body treatments, we are thrilled to be able to again safely offer facials to our guests,” says Spa Director Nabil Gomes. “We have been listening to the needs of our guests and have created a special new facial for those who spend their time in virtually connecting with family and colleagues around the globe.”

The You’re on Mute Facial is the perfect treatment to get one's face close-up camera ready. The treatment starts off with a personalised consultation by a trained esthetician and features 50 minutes of deep cleansing, exfoliating and hydrating using the French high performance skincare line Codage. A honey mask is applied for extra rich hydration. Guests can then choose from a list of additional a la carte treatments such as an LED anti-ageing and dark spot treatment, hair removal or a “blemish blast” procedure. To conclude the facial, guests are invited to enjoy a You’re on Mute Cocktail by BOURBON STEAK lead bartender Engidawork Alebachew featuring Ketel One vodka, lemon, grapefruit, matcha green tea and clarified milk on the sumptuous garden patio.

Hotel Manager Jason De Vries has noticed a trend of guests indulging in spa treatments as birthday gifts in the past year. “We are seeing people want to really treat themselves for their birthday and it inspired us to offer an additional fun, new treatment,” says De Vries.

The Birthday Retreat is a 50 minute massage of choice (deep tissue, sports or Swedish massage) that includes a complimentary exfoliating verbena foot scrub, a glass of champagne and a special dessert designed by the Hotel’s Executive Pastry Chef. To make the experience even more fun, The Spa offers a bunch of balloons to the birthday guest.

“I think we all could use an extra treat on our birthday this year,” says De Vries. “It is hard not to smile when you are given a bunch of balloons!”

An additional new feature at The Spa is the return of local designer RON DAVID who will be launching his new RON DAVID STUDIO collection on May 1, 2021.  The pop-up boutique will feature the full ready-to-wear collection, leather goods and the brand new eyewear collection. Until the end of August 2021, shoppers will be able to browse the boutique from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm every day to pick up beautifully designed-in-DC clothing and accessories.

“We couldn’t be happier to welcome back RON DAVID to The Spa,” says Spa Director Nabil Gomes. “Our clients have developed a relationship with Ron over the years and are so excited to see his new collection.”
