Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC Celebrates Living Colourfully This Summer, Highlighting the Diversity and Inclusivity of its Staff, Guests and the Beautiful Community That Surrounds the Hotel

Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC transforms from the sumptuous, flourishing, "Sakura Blossom Spring" to the fun and bright “Living Colourfully” for the summer

June 17, 2022,
Washington, DC, U.S.A.

Starting in June until the end of August 2022, Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC will celebrate “Living Colourfully,” highlighting the diversity and inclusivity of its staff, guests and the beautiful community that surrounds the Hotel.

Experience locally-inspired BBQ stations and refreshments at Seasons Brunch. Dive into in a fresh summer menu and boozy popsicles benefiting a good cause at Bourbon Steak. Soothe skin from the sun with restorative treatments at The Spa. And that is just the beginning: explore all that the Nation’s Capital has to offer as the city celebrates summer.

The fun and games start from the moment a guest arrives at the Hotel. Kids, and kids at heart, will be greeted with a Red Flyer wagon filled with toys, games and kites to start off the stay with some fun.

Summer in the Capital City

At Bourbon Steak, beat the heat on the Bourbon Steak patio with Executive Chef Robert Curtis’ summer menu featuring dishes such a white gazpacho or a refreshing citrus-cured hamachi. Cool down with brightly-coloured boozy popsicles, named Pride Pops, benefitting Worthy Mentoring, or indulge in a retro campfire experience with the smoked s’mores or brownie sundae. Stop by for Cigar Happy hour and kick back with a barrel and spirit pairing. The city’s best outdoor patio dining experience just got so much more fun.

Guest Chef Patio Cookouts

Chef Robert Curtis is celebrating the summer by inviting in some of his chef friends for a series of patio cookouts at the spacious open-air garden lounge. The summer cookouts kick off on June 26, 2022 as Chef Matt Adler of Caruso’s Grocery joins for a lamb roast. Each month, a new guest chef will participate in culinary event not to be missed.

An Occasion to Brunch

DC's premier Sunday brunch buffet gets even better with summertime fun-themed food stations and homemade dishes that reflect the cultural diversity of the Hotel team and the local community. Sample Taurino’s Taco recipe from Oaxaca in the pop-up taco station. Chef Bilal shares his love of his family with a falafel recipe from Jordan in a Mediterranean station.  From D- inspired BBQ stations and farmer’s market fare to dishes that will take guests on a cultural exploration, Seasons Brunch is a special occasion on its own, made even more special with bottomless bubbles.

Summertime Spa

Escape to the Forbes 4-Star “Summertime Spa,” a sanctuary in the heart of Georgetown, for a dip in the pool and a restorative treatment. Soothe skin from the summer sun with the Summer Radiance Facial, an eighty minute anti-ageing facial including a Rose Quartz Knesko mask with cooling pressure point massage and citrus hand treatment.

Guests will feel refreshed with a rejuvenating citrus massage: the eighty-minute massage begins with a detoxifying moor mud application on the back, followed by a customized citrus-scented full-body therapeutic massage, ending with a rejuvenating neck and shoulder massage using a combination of hot and cold stones.

Afterwards, guests can take advantage of the steam room, sauna and whirlpool, or simply lounge while snacking on fresh fruits and sipping curated juice blends for health and wellness. Ron David unveils his summer collection, aptly named, “Colors,” at The Spa Boutique where one-of-a-kind pieces are hand-picked for Four Seasons guests.

The Power of Love

Illuminating the reception at the Hotel, guests are greeted by a display of painted hearts by renowned artist Fer Da Silva. Da Silva is a Venezuelan and Portuguese visual artist, who currently resides and creates most of his art pieces in New York City.  He created, almost magically, the work that led him to be known around the world with its motto “The Power of Love” through his artwork called Corazón de Fer. Fer Da Silva’s artwork is showcased at DTR Modern Art Gallery (New York, Boston, Washington, DC and Nantucket). He also has a variety of murals in New York City and Miami, which have been reviewed and highlighted by important media such as Forbes, Vogue, Telemundo, Univision, and others. At present, Fer Da Silva is creating more hearts, doing exhibitions and bringing his art around the world convinced that Corazón de Fer is a true way to give love and receive love in return

Fun in the Sun

With the Capital as a backyard, there is endless fun and learning to be had. Guests are encouraged to ask the Gold Key Concierge for a jogging map to the National Mall, or a historic walk through Georgetown, where sightseeing blends perfectly with shopping and tasting local specialties.

There’s truly something for everyone at Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC.  The Hotel invites guests to make the Nation’s Capital their playground this summer.
