Greenhouse Massage Debuts at Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village

Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village, known for its award-winning 40,000 square foot (3,700 square metre) Spa and leading wellness offers, launches the Connect with Nature Greenhouse Massage for a sensory journey through relaxation in a unique botanical setting.  

Beginning at the outdoor meditation garden under the Hotel's iconic pagoda, the tone for the experience is set with fragrant aromas from the gardens of the more than 12 acre (5 hectare) property, plus sights of hummingbirds, bunnies and the feeling of the sun-kissed southern California breeze.  

As the private experience continues, a therapist guides guests to the enchanting greenhouse tucked within the lush grounds of the property. The styled greenhouse, built both for visual aesthetic and function, is used to harvest ingredients used daily in the Spa.  

Upon arrival to the Instagram-worthy greenhouse, guests make a selection of organic herbs grown in the greenhouse that are then crushed and infused in the cold-pressed almond oil from Southern California producers to prepare a bespoke massage oil applied during the treatment.  

Guests enjoy a warm foot-soak with sea salt collected from the ocean on the Malibu shoreline as the stress of everyday life melts away. The treatment continues with sound therapy techniques from the healing vibrations of a copper singing bowl, followed by a customised massage. The massage uses a combination of advanced techniques, including reflexology, to restore balance, inspire rejuvenation, and enhance one's connection with nature. 

The treatment concludes with a warm cup of tea infused with herbs from the garden.
