Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler is Getting Wrapped Up in All Things Festive

November 30, 2018,
Whistler, Canada

Kick-starting the week of the mountain opening, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler has a number of activities to get everyone enjoying the upcoming festive season like nowhere else in Whistler. Whether experiencing an indoor forest of sparkling trees, finding a hidden pop-up restaurant or frolicking in an archway of light, Four Seasons Resort Whistler is the place to be this festive season.

Festival of Trees and the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

Four Seasons Resort Whistler has transformed its lobby into a sparkling Canadian pine forest to support the BC Children’s Hospital and raise much needed funds to support those in their care. Everyone is invited to enjoy this lush forest of beautifully decorated trees whether they are guests, locals or simply visiting Whistler.

The annual Tree Lighting Ceremony kicked-off the six weeklong festival with hot chocolate, decoration judging and, of course, the grand lighting of the trees turning the lobby into a truly enchanting space.

Archway of Light

Make magical memories while heading under the archway of light from Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler to Blackcomb Mountain and the Upper Village. Launched to coincide with the Whistler Mountain opening, it’s the perfect way to capture shining moments.

Alfresco Après at the Vintage Patio Camper

The picture perfect Patio Camper is back at Four Seasons Resort Whistler for the winter season with a snowy make-over from Whistler’s own visionary Ola Smazynski of Flock Events. The 1965 retro camper will serve hot chocolate and cook-your-own s’mores, making the patio the perfect place to wind down after a crisp day on the slopes. Don’t forget to ask about the famous Tipsy Snowman!

Let’s Ramen - Hidden Pop-up Restaurant

To be revealed just in time for festive week, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler is warming guests up post-ski with a hidden pop-up restaurant and bar. Accessed through a postern door, with a neon sign to show revellers the way, the pop-up restaurant will serve relaxed dishes and imported liquors in a space that perhaps leaves guests feeling as though they have stepped out of a mountain town.

Four Seasons Blackcomb Mountain Après

To celebrate the opening of Blackcomb Mountain’s brand spanking-new gondola, the team at SIDECUT Modern Steak+Bar has created a mountain of food and drink with their newest creation, the Blackcomb Mountain Après. The feast comes to guests on a custom built tower, hand-crafted from Vancouver Island’s artisans at Live Edge Design, and features the best in comfort food. Accompanied by two beer paddles with drops from Whistler Brewery, it’s the perfect way to end a day shredding the mountain.

This isn’t it either, check out the rest of the activities offered by Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler here.
