The re-imagined Resort takes winter wonderland to North Pole-worthy new heights through tantalizing culinary journeys, tasteful family activities, 12 Days of Festive, and much more

October 20, 2022,
Whistler, Canada

A wondrous winter wonderland set amid glorious Canadian wilderness awaits those seeking to celebrate the festive season in unforgettably magical ways this year at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler. The renowned mountain lodge transforms into a sparkling wintry playground for guests of all ages, with memory-making experiences that even Santa Claus himself would covet.

Picture-perfect moments to spend with loved ones can be found all across the dazzlingly decorated property throughout December 2022, from a daily complimentary wine tasting featuring sommelier-selected BC varietals to s’mores being roasted next to the Vintage Camper to après-ski warm or refreshing beverages sipped and enjoyed by a classic Canadian bonfire.

New for the 2022 holiday season is the Resort’s G.O.A Pop-Up Restaurant. Executive Chef Sajish Kumar Das takes guests on a culinary journey that honours his home of Goa, a tiny, spectacular state on India’s west coast known for vast stretches of sandy beaches and Portuguese-influenced Indian cuisine.

Chef Kumar Das fostered his love of cooking from an early age in the family kitchen, learning recipes and culinary traditions passed down through generations. Transforming his passion into a profession, Das holds a diploma from Goa’s Institute of Hotel Management and has held roles at five-star properties across India, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar and Canada. Das brings more than 20 years of dining expertise to Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler, delivering memorable service to each and every guest.

With the G.O.A Pop-Up Restaurant, Chef Das is realizing a long-held dream to share his heritage through a brilliantly executed, authentic medley of spices and flavours rarely found in the Pacific Northwest.

G.O.A Pop-Up Restaurant runs from December 9, 2022 to January 8, 2023 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm in the Resort’s ground-floor lobby. Reservations are highly recommended.

Festive Wintertide Dining

With Jack Frost nipping at one’s nose, Uncle Bruce will be serving up fantastic food and drink at the vibrant, welcoming Braidwood Tavern, a contemporary spin on a favourite uncle’s cozy cabin in the woods. Among other seasonal offerings, the mountainside restaurant and bar has unveiled Hot Chocolates Around the World

The playful menu is serious about flavour, designed to warm people up with indulgent après cocktails. A selection of fun, Instagram-ready spiked hot chocolates takes inspiration from world-class destinations such as Paris, Tokyo, Oaxaca, Whistler itself, and the North Pole. Featuring premium global spirits, the highest-quality chocolate that Uncle Bruce can find, and other finely sourced ingredients, each creative, cozy cup transports guests to dreamy global locales from the comfort and warmth of the Tavern.

Hot Chocolates Around the World is available daily from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm.

S'mores in the Courtyard

The famous courtyard at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler has a gorgeous new look, having just been completely redone. This outdoor oasis is home to the resort’s Vintage Camper, a retro camper restored to its full, darling glory. Every day from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, the Resort offers complimentary s'mores for roasting by the fire under twinkling string lights. With warm blankets on comfy couches and chairs, glowing patio heaters, gently falling snow, and crisp mountain air, it’s a classic Canadian experience elevated, a delicious way to embrace a northern winter outdoors.
