Chef Giovanni Marco Carandino, hailing from Palermo, Sicily, graces the pastry kitchens of Four Seasons Hotel Prague since November 2022. With more than a decade of experience, Pastry Chef Gianmarco brings a fusion of tradition and innovation to Italian cuisine.

A chocolate aficionado, Chef Gianmarco finds inspiration in crafting pralines and artistic showpieces. Guided by a masterful pastry chef, his passion for chocolate sculpture ignited, laying the foundation for his creative prowess.

Prior to Prague, Chef Gianmarco spent eight years at Four Seasons Hotel Firenze, managing the pastry team at Michelin-distinguished Il Palagio restaurant. His journey from savoury to sweet kitchens was swift, driven by a love for pastries.

With experiences at RockPool Dining Group in Sydney and Ristorante I Pupi in Sicily, Chef Gianmarco infuses traditional Italian flavours with contemporary flair. His culinary repertoire boasts certificates attesting to his mastery of the pastry arts.
