Born and raised in Mexico City, Gabriela “Gaby” Jimenez developed an early interest in cooking, seeing her mother and grandmother cooking for the family. She enjoyed helping out, learning how to cook, and most of all, helping to create something special for everyone to enjoy.

After graduating from high school in Mexico City, Gaby moved to Houston and began her culinary career, straight away, at Maggiano’s Little Italy, overseeing the salad bar and dessert lounge. From there, she transitioned to The Royal Sonesta Houston Galleria, where she worked for 14 years, covering breakfasts, lunches, and banquet service. In 2016, Gaby joined Four Seasons Hotel Houston as a cook for the opening team of Bayou & Bottle, where she moved up to the Chef de Partie position in 2021. Gaby was named Restaurant Chef of Bayou & Bottle in 2023, where she oversees all culinary aspects of the popular bourbon-themed bar and restaurant.

Chef Gaby speaks English and Spanish, and enjoys traveling, trying out new restaurants with her husband and three children, and relaxing at the river.
