Hailing from Florida, Chef de Cuisine Dave Paterniti’s passion for cooking started at a young age. His fond memories of days spent in the kitchen cooking with his mother meant that by the age of eight he knew that he wanted to be a chef. After graduating with a bachelor's degree from the Culinary Institute of America in 2014, Dave joined the Philadelphia restaurant scene and quickly made his way up the culinary ladder. Since before the opening of Vernick Fish, Chef Dave has consistently showcased remarkable culinary talents and a strong work ethic, which he now brings to the Vernick Fish culinary team in his role as Chef de Cuisine.
