If you are looking for an afternoon tea that is a bit more interesting than the regular cucumber sandwiches and English scones, head to the Lobby Lounge at Four Seasons Hotel Beirut and enjoy a fresh take on tradition with a new monthly fruit-themed afternoon tea.

With a geo-location offering a variety of altitudes and a good 300 days of sunshine, Lebanon boasts one of the richest diversity of local fruit markets in the world. Inspired by this rich, local offering, Executive Chef Apostolus Dimou along with Pastry Chef Fadi Hodroj have shown off their creativity and skill by creating a fruit-themed afternoon tea that changes every month to reflect the latest fruit produce.

Kicking off the summer season is the Cherry-Themed Afternoon Tea, offering fresh cherries straight from the mountains of Laklouk, which are ingeniously incorporated into the menu offering. Other upcoming themes include the Peach-Themed Afternoon Tea in July and the Fig-Themed Afternoon Tea in August.

Every themed afternoon Tea will have two offerings, sweet and savory:

  • Sweet: Fresh scones with clotted cream and jam, macaroons, tarts, éclairs, financiers reflecting the fruit produce of the month.
  • Savoury: Smoked salmon quiche, spinach and goat cheese quiche, chicken and seasonal mushroom puff, cucumber sandwich, egg truffle sandwich, smoked salmon bagel, roast beef sandwich.

Pair the selection with one of the tea-inspired cocktails curated by our bar mixologist or with a glass of bubbly.
