Arrive in Style

Bora Bora, French Polynesia

As if arrival into Bora Bora wasn't spectacular enough, with the turquoise waters and majesty of Mouth Otemanu in sight, the journey to Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora takes it to the next level.

The Four Seasons experience begins upon arrival at the Bora Bora Airport, where our guests are greeted with a tiare flower lei, cold bottled water and a chilled oshiburi towel. Staff handles the luggage, which will be placed directly in the guest rooms at the Resort, while guests are escorted onto one of our custom-crafted Andreyale Bateux Taxis (taxi boats). Guests sit aboard these magnificent vessels, taking in the sights of the island, on a stunning 20-minute cruise to the Resort, where upon arrival, they are taken directly to their overwater bungalow suite or beachfront villa estate.

Private charters are also available through the Concierge desk for sunset cruises, day outings or transfers. Named Heinoanoa, Leana, Poeiti and Vaihani, these yachts were inspired by the commuter boats of New York City of the 1920s, used to transport Wall Street executives from their homes in Long Island to the Manhattan Financial District. They feature woodwork and decking of dark mahogany and teak, with crème coloured seating and accents of stainless steel. Designed by architectural firm Joubert-Nivelt at the Saint-Martin de Ré yard of Latitude 46 Classic Yachts in Isle de Ré, France, these taxi boats provide the most spectacular welcome to the turquoise lagoon and striking geography of Bora Bora.

For those choosing their Four Seasons arrival by air, the Resort offers a private helicopter landing pad. An easily arranged private charter will have the guests picked up at the airport, and transported to the Resort in a most memorable and picturesque manner. Helicopter charters are also available for sightseeing excursions, offering a true birds-eye view of Bora Bora's full splendour.
