The scenic roads of French Riviera have been immortalised in many famous movies, chosen for their breathtaking views inspiring legendary films such as How to Catch a Thief directed by Alfred Hitchcock and starring Grace Kelly and Cary Grant,  Grace of Monaco with Nicole Kidman and several James Bond movies.  Now, the Hotel concierges in collaboration with car partner Joey Rent, have customised driving itineraries to follow the steps of those illustrious celebrities and enjoy discovering the most emblematic roads of the Côte d’Azur in style. Guests can choose from an impressive selection of super and classic cars including a Maserati Gran Turismo, a Lamborghini Huracan, an Aston Martin, a Ferrari 488 GTB, a Rolls Royce Wmith and an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider, just to name a few.

All experiences are tailor-made by Joey Rent’s team offering, upon request, the assistance of a road side service to make your journey even more enjoyable while cruising the enchanting landscapes of the French Riviera.

The Corniche roads from Saint-Jean Cap-Ferrat to Monaco - 60 kilometres / 37.29 miles

This tour has been designed especially to explore the famous Corniche roads joining Nice to Monaco along the Mediterranean coast. Drive through the magnificent Eze, a medieval perched village. Follow your way to La Turbie village and its Trophy of Augustus, which was built in 6 BC in honour of Octavius, Caesar’s nephew and future Emperor Augustus. End your journey in Monaco only 20 minutes from the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat.

When scenic roads meet French Riviera’s art and culture – 75 kilometres / 46.60 miles

Enjoy the main cultural highlights along the beautiful scenic roads between Saint-Jean Cap-Ferrat and Vence.  Your journey will start at Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, former home of the Rothschild Baroness, an architectural Belle Epoque jewel with certainly the most beautiful garden of the Côte d’Azur. Continue to Cagnes sur mer and stop at the Grimaldi castle, former residence of Monaco Princely family, then pursue your way to Saint Paul de Vence. Stop by the famous Maeght foundation to admire its unique modern art collection before arriving at Saint-Paul de Vence, a famous village highly frequented in the 60s by French and international actors like Yves Montand and Simone Signoret. A 10 minute drive from Saint Paul de Vence, do not miss the charms of the provençal village of Vence and its Rosary Chapel entirely conceived and decorated by Henri Matisse.

The French Riviera viewed from the coastal roads - 100 kilometres / 62.13 miles

Discover the Côte d’Azur driving along the Mediterranean Sea and stopover the main coastal highlights and villages to experience the real French Riviera way of living. Your journey will start in the fisherman’s village of Villefranche-sur-Mer, with its beautiful bay and Vauban fortress.

Pursue your way through the iconic Promenade des Anglais in Nice direction Antibes, passing by the cities of Cagnes sur mer and Villeneuve Loubet offering different panoramas of the sea. The Fort Carré, another renowned work of Vauban dated from the second half of the sixteenth century will welcome you to the old city of Antibes, a perfect stop for lunch and a walk through its rambling pedestrian streets, home to Picasso museum and a beautiful daily local market. Do not miss a ride through the Cap d’Antibes with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea.
