Four Seasons Resort Hualalai Offers Turf Surf Experience with Onewheel

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai has launched a new partnership with Santa Cruz, California-based Future Motion, creators of Onewheel, to offer a new unique guest experience. Turf Surf gives guests the feeling of surfing or snowboarding on the 18-hole signature Jack Nicklaus Resort golf course.  The Five-Star, Five-Diamond resort is the first luxury resort to offer this premium amenity.

"The experience is absolutely unbelievable,” says Alaka ‘i Nalu Director Trent Fischer.  “It feels like surfing, but on grass, and is available all year-round, which is great when the surf gets too big.  Our guests are accustomed to exceptional experiences and this is something that they can't stop talking about." The Resort's ocean adventures team, Alaka 'i Nalu, is equipped with a fleet of signature, custom Four Seasons Resort Hualalai Onewheel+ XR boards that provide a smooth ride on or off-road for up to 18 miles (29 kilometres).  Guests who book the new Turf Surf experience are picked up from the lobby by golf cart, then taken to the golf course surrounded by panoramic ocean views.  After an initial training session, guests ride the stunning fairways and banked sand traps alongside a Four Seasons guide.

The Turf Surf Onewheel experience costs USD 150 per person and is available daily at 7:00 and 8:30 am for up to five guests at a time.
