Master Healers

Among the world’s elite group of healers is Geo Spa practitioner Rashdy, well-known for his miraculous healing hand ability.  Born into a family of healers, his father was a medicine man, his mother a traditional midwife, and his grandfather practiced traditional cupping using buffalo horn. Rashdy studied under many traditional healers from a young age and started treating people at the age of 16. 

Passionate about helping people feel better, he is renowned for his knowledge and unique healing techniques, employing a range of modalities combined with traditional Malay oils to treat each individual’s specific needs and vastly improve their wellbeing.  His healing treatments range from a cupping ritual which draws on Langkawi’s ancient cultural influences combined with local coconut oil to energy healing using Nur or spiritual power – a very intelligent energy without timeframe or borders – that is inherent within all individuals. Placing his hand on the area requiring treatment, he draws on his intuitive skills as a Reiki master and Imara Reiki master to resolve physical, mental and emotional problems.

Vincent Baulard, known for elementary healing traits, is another remarkable master healer at the Geo Spa.  Like Rashdy, Vincent inherited his unique gifts from his family – a long line of elemental practitioners. Endowed with sensitive hands and the ability to soothe burns from a young age, he developed his techniques to include Amma massage, a modality he first learned on La Reunion Island, and which he has perfected over the course of a decade to include in-depth knowledge of Reiki and Magnetism.

Vincent’s healing treatments include Fire Stopping, which is an application of the hands to a burn (caused by the sun, fire or heat) to stop the burning sensation and minimise internal and external damage.  Another modality is Watsu: In Pool Relaxation, which is a gentle therapy that mirrors the feeling of being in the womb through technique techniques that combine massage, joint/muscle mobilisation, shiatsu and dance.  Vincent also focuses on Amma Massage, an ancient Chinese ancestral technique. The combination of deep tissue therapy, pressure, friction, and touch restores the flow of energy throughout the body by removing blockages within bodily tissues and energy channels.
