The Flora of London's Parks at Four Seasons

September 2, 2014,
London at Park Lane, England

Four Seasons guests are accustomed to beautiful arrangements of cut flowers at Four Seasons hotels and resorts around the world, however the floral display that greets them in the lobby at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is unlike any other Four Seasons location in the world.  The plants and flowers of the arrangements in Park Lane are designed to reflect what you might come across on a wander through our neighbouring Royal Parks and gardens.

You might see daffodils in among the trees of Green Park, roses in full bloom in Hyde Park and cosmos dotted around St James’ Park.  Upon returning to the Hotel it is more than likely you will be able to spot some of the wonderful flowers in and around the lobby and lounges.

In tune with the eco-friendly nature of the Hotel, where possible plants used in the arrangements are kept alive and growing after they have stopped looking their absolute best.  If you were to visit the terrace of Amaranto in the summer it’s quite likely you will find plants thriving amongst the planted beds, weeks after they were growing in the lobby and lounge.
