Reconnect mind and body with complimentary wellness classes on June 12

Launched in 2012, Global Wellness Day was established as the first day dedicated to living well and has evolved into a worldwide social project that encourages participants to ask, even for just one day, “How can I live a healthier and better life?” This year, Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas has partnered with AntiGravity Aerial Yoga founder and creator Christopher Harrison along with Four Seasons Golf and Sports Club wellness experts to celebrate Global Wellness Day by offering a full day of complimentary classes available to the public on June 12, 2021.

AntiGravity Aerial Yoga evolved the genre of yoga upward with the AntiGravity Hammock, making the practice both more accessible for beginners and more challenging for experienced yogis. The zero-compression inversion guarantees systemic healing. Christopher Harrison founded AntiGravity in 1991, with a vision for reinventing acrobatics within mainstream pop culture. As an entertainment and fitness trailblazer, Christopher's innovations have inspired the current aerial cultural explosion across the globe. From choreographing the Olympic Games, to Broadway, the White House to the Academy Awards, to gyms, studios and resorts, his dream has found its wings. AntiGravity Fitness is based in New York City and is represented in 50 countries. Internationally, Harrison is regarded as the Father of Aerial Yoga.

Sunrise Yoga

  • 7:00-7:45 am, The Terrace Lawn
  • 25 attendees

Energise the body and mind while greeting the sun and the opportunities of a new day.  The body will be invigorated and the mind quieted by this 45-minute moderately paced, slow flow style class, allowing participants to meet the day’s challenges with peace and grace.

AntiGravity Aerial Yoga Masterclass with Christopher Harrison 

  • 9:00-9:50 am and 2:00-2:50 pm, Mind Body Movement Studio
  • 12 attendees per session

Discover the power, excitement and pure joy of moving freely in all directions of open space. Learn how to flip, swing and fly through space from Christopher Harrison, the inventor of AntiGravity Aerial Yoga; defying both Newton’s gravity and gravity of the mind. This open-level class lasts for 50 minutes and guarantees rejuvenation.

Power Yoga 

  • 11:30 am – 12:20 pm, Mind Body Movement Studio
  • 25 attendees

This 50-minute mind/body class is a powerful, energetic form of yoga where students fluidly move from one pose to the next while connecting their breathing to their movements.

Grounded Together Guided Meditation with Sound Therapist Marina Sbrochi

End the evening in a place of Zen. Tune in virtually on the Resort’s Instagram account as Sound Therapist Marina Sbrochi conducts a live guided hypnotic meditation focusing on the breath and a grounded centre, allowing individuals to reconnect with themselves as well as collectively with the world around them through the use of gongs, singing bowls and other sound instruments.

Well & Being Relaxation Package

For ultimate self-care, extend Global Wellness Day into the weekend with the Well & Being Relaxation package that includes spa treatments and relaxing accommodations. Select from one of the following 50-minute treatments for one guest with each night of stay: Alpine Arnica Deep Tissue Massage, Blues Be Gone Massage, Deep-Cleansing Facial or Moisture Drench Facial.

All classes include a swag bag with items to help participants continue practicing wellness and self-care from the comfort of home. Parking is complimentary for participants attending classes.
