Well seasoned in the culinary sector, Vincent Chasseignaux is constantly striving to present guests with unique gastronomic experiences that inspire and elevate.
From a very early age, Chasseignaux discovered his passion for food and the importance of sourcing prime products with genuine wholesome flavours. “My mother cooked our daily meals using the freshest ingredients. Every Saturday we would go to the local outdoor market together and purchase different whole foods and plan meals based on fresh, seasonal produce. The market was a source of inspiration for the meals on our family table.” These moments in time influenced him to honour and prefer quality, healthy food. “When I commenced my journey in hotel management, I wanted to become a chef. I discovered I wanted to have more contact and interaction with guests so I decided to pursue my career around restaurant hospitality.”
Chasseignaux is now currently in charge of Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach Food and Beverage operations, and he holds himself to very high standards. “No two days are alike in the hospitality sector. Every day is a challenge and I’m always driven to deliver the best possible service. That is my target. Good is never enough.”
He is certainly not a stranger to the Gulf region. He had previously worked in Dubai for seven years, where he witnessed the city grow at a tremendous rate. After spending a few years working in St. Petersburg and London, with Four Seasons, he decided to return to the Middle East to work with Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay. “I was very enthusiastic to come back to the region. I felt a welcoming connection to Bahrain and the rich culture. It is important for me to understand the local market and present residents with desirable experiences. I like working with Bahraini nationals and developing contacts to ensure quality, sustainable food supplies. I am also passionate to highlight local artists and weave their creativity into our promotions.”
Chasseignaux is settled in Dubai with his beloved wife and young son.
