Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Geneva Unveils its Festive Menus

Chef Massimiliano Sena of Michelin-starred Il Lago has crafted a Christmas menu that is available for delivery in the Greater Geneva area

With the festive season fast approaching, Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Geneva unveils its Christmas and New Year’s Eve menus.

At Michelin-starred Il Lago, Chef Massimiliano Sena has created a Christmas menu that reflects the diversity of Italian cuisine, with traditional, thoroughly indulgent dishes such as Casatiello Napoletano, a traditional festive bread from southern Italy. A number of dishes feature Alba’s famous white truffle to enhance flavours and aromas, such as the Chef’s salt-cured cod and potatoes and his truffle-stuffed guinea fowl with pumpkin and chestnut.

The Christmas Menu will also be available for delivery this year for those wishing to celebrate the festive season in the comfort of their own home. Dishes feature easy-to-assemble trimmings and step-by-step instructions are provided, making them very simple to put together at home.

Sweet tooths must not miss Pastry Chef Jean-Marie Roger’s Yule log, which is also available to order for takeaway.

For New Year’s Eve dinner, guests will have the choice of ringing in the new year at Izumi or Il Lago. Renowned for his celebrated Nikkei dishes, Japanese Chef Mitsuru Tsukada has created a New Year’s Eve menu with dishes featuring subtle Asian and Latin American influences. Guests will be able to savour the likes of scallop tiradito and Beluga caviar and organic lobster dynamite with yuzu emulsion in an inviting setting, with live music performances adding to the festive ambience.
