Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou Celebrates the 2021 Festive Season in Style
With the festive winter season approaching, a familiar and popular sight will once again grace the lobby of Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou. The Wishing Forest - replete with frosted landscape after a heavy snowfall - will transform the lobby into a scenic and spirited winter wonderland in conjunction with Kui Yuan Gallery and paper craft artist Wen Qiuwen (Small D). This year, however, the aesthetically appealing landscape incorporates a broader theme pertaining to the power of mindfulness in infusing love and gratitude into our daily life, filling it with peace, joy and contentment.
Made of eco-friendly Dupont Tyrek paper, the artist has chosen to integrate a child’s perspective of the fairyland by adopting smooth oval lines to sculpt the snow-capped cedar. The golden stars on the leaves mirror the twinkling, wishful stars in the universe and illuminate the energy of mindfulness. While mindfulness should always be a constant, it’s a theme of particular relevance this year and is derived from the new norm of social distancing and respecting the space of others. Long a proponent of general wellness, Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou has taken the lead in developing a positive connection with nature and the nurturing of harmonious and meaningful relationships with the people around us.
The festive tree lighting 2021 will again conceptualise the idea of wellbeing as the ambassador of mindfulness, the Wishing Forest, focuses on the physical and mental health of all while also caring for the wellbeing of the earth.
The Hotel has carefully designed a series of festive events to celebrate this very special occasion: light French seafood dishes, traditional Italian festive cuisine, Michelin-starred Cantonese cuisine, and a Japanese celebration of the New Year in the Hotel's restaurants. Joining the season’s celebration is also the award-winning Hua Spa that has launched exquisite holiday gift sets with an indelible experience staying among the clouds.
