A Reimagined Festive Escape

Coinciding the long-awaited, roaring return of tourism, a series of guest rooms and suites at Four Seasons have been reimagined by acclaimed design firm Remedios Studio. Interweaving old and new to offer a restful sanctuary amid the bustling city, the spacious rooms embrace a sense of calm and tranquillity through the clever appointment of modern furnishings, classic detailing, and Chinese architectural elements.

Families staying at Four Seasons over the festive season can also experience a roster of children-friendly arts and crafts and cooking activities simply by booking through the Concierge. Little ones are encouraged to make their own Christmas accessories, enjoy ballet performances, watch the local choir sing carols, or make Shanghai wontons, pizza calzone, onigiri, and turkey rice paper rolls with a chef (subject to changes and availability).

Star-Studded Dining Extravaganza

Classics with a festive twist and seasonal creations are ready to entice and excite at the Hotel’s Michelin-starred dining institutions.

The eight-course dinner menu at three Michelin-starred Caprice on December 24, 25 and 31, 2022 promises a feast for the senses like no other. On Christmas Eve, guests can expect seasonal specialties such as Hare Soup, Roquefort and Pistachio; and Roe Deer, Vanilla, Pomelo and Game Sauce. Come Christmas Day, Cocoa Pigeon 2.0 and Work Around the Pear will impress even the most discerning diners. The dish reinterprets a traditional French recipe from Chef Guillaume Galliot’s hometown and requires Racan pigeon to be meticulously prepared in a Vietnamese cocoa pod before serving with cocoa jus. On New Year’s Eve, a heart-warming Poached Pear with Spices will deliver a satisfying finale to the meal.

Families opting to gather over authentic, exquisite Cantonese fare can head to three Michelin-starred Lung King Heen on December 24, 25 and 31, 2022 for a nine-course dinner (vegetarian option available) comprising an array of all-time signatures. Ideal for even varying palates and preferences, dishes to try include the Fried Puntalette with Minced Beef in XO Chili Sauce, Deep-fried Crab Shell stuffed with Onions, Fresh Crab Meat, Black Truffle and Chilled Mango and Sago Cream with Pomelo.

The nine-course dinner menu is priced at HKD 1,980* (December 24–25), HKD 2,880* (December 31) per person. A seven-course kids’ menu is also available at HKD 880* (December 24–25), HKD 1,388* (December 31) per person.

Daytime Indulgence

A Festive Lunch Buffet (HKD 1,080* per person) will be served at ARGO during December 24-26, 2022 and January 1, 2023, where a sumptuous spread will be set up in the conservatory-like space replete with hanging terrariums, opulent curves, and wooden murals that meet floor-to-ceiling windows sharing unobstructed views of Central.

Similarly, no details are spared for afternoon tea this December. A cozy nook designed with a warm and inviting flair, Gallery is the latest addition to dining offerings at Four Seasons. Bespoke Chinese teas from Yu Tea House or coffee from Omotesando Koffee will be served alongside the Weekday Festive Afternoon Treat (HKD 338* per person) with treats inspired by the Hotel’s Michelin-starred establishments. Must try delicacies include the Baked Mini Barbecued Goose Bun, Foie Gras Tart with Fig, Mulled Berries and Madagascar Vanilla Choux and Christmas Spicy Chocolate Yule Log Cake. On weekends, December 26–27, 2022 and January 1–2, 2023, Festive Afternoon Treat (HKD 528* per person) will also feature a one-off Madagascar Vanilla Souffle with Speculoos Ice Cream.

At The Lounge, Festive Afternoon Tea with Live Stations (HKD 528* per person) is an interactive affair with cooking stations on weekends in December, December 26–27, 2022 and January 1–2, 2023. A Festive Afternoon Tea Set will be served on weekdays in December, priced at HKD 485* (for one person) or HKD 778* (for two persons).

Holiday Cheer at Home

Avoid the endless holiday crowds and visit Four Seasons e-shop for thoughtful ideas to spread the festive cheer at home.

The timeless favourite Slow Roasted UK Larchwood Farm Turkey (HKD 3,280) served with rosemary and gin sauce, star anise cranberry sauce, truffle sausage, and braised red cabbage among other side dishes can satiate parties of six to eight. The 2 kilogram French Cheese Box (HKD 2,880) highlights six varieties including Cantal Entre Deux AO and Fourme D'Ambert, homemade nut bread as well as a platter of delectable nibbles.

Back by popular demand, gourmands can also enjoy the Festive Takeaway Afternoon Tea Set (HKD 778), which includes sweet and savoury treats ranging from Gingerbread Pumpkin Tartlet, Crispy Serrano Ham Chips and Poached Tiger Prawns, Avocado Relish, Rye Bread, Raspberry Crisp to Petit Red Currant and Chestnut Log Cake.

Delightful Christmas essentials such as Gingerbread Man Cookies (HKD 390), Santa Claus Icing Cookies with Marshmallows (HKD 85), and traditional yule log Bûche de Noël (HKD 920) can too be taken home. Look forward to counting down with the Christmas Advent Calendar Gift Box (HKD 560), while sipping on Four Seasons Mulled Wine (HKD 190 per set).

For added luxury, three Santa-approved festive hampers featuring the most decadent crowd-pleasers can be pre-ordered and delivered home. Gourmet (HKD 2,990) packs an edible selection of sbrisolada, Perbellini Panettone, foie gras de canard entier, organic fig jam, Jamón ibérico de Bellota, traditional country pork terrine, festive chocolates and more.

Deluxe (HKD 4,280) ups the game with additional homemade Christmas stollen, Magret de Canard fumé prétranché, plus a bottle each of Henriot Champagne and Chateau Rollan de By, Bordeaux, France, while Ultimate (HKD 13,800) counts 24 epicurean gems including whole winter truffle, Kaluga caviar, chocolate and champagne truffles with gold leaf, confit de canard, and Christmas macarons, rounded off with a bottle of Dom Pérignon.

New Year, Fresh Rituals

Look rejuvenated and feel pampered before the busy festivities commence with a visit to The Spa. The two-hour Holiday Healing Ritual (priced at HKD 3,500*) uses techniques and products to remedy winter dryness and release deep seated fatigue, beginning with a cinnamon foot soak and leading to a warming cinnamon and basil therapeutic massage. A soothing coconut crème body wrap is applied while an elaborate head massage unwinds the senses and guarantees a good night’s sleep.

Add to the holiday glam with a 60, 90, or 120-minute Skin Perfector Facial (HKD 2,000 and up*), which uses the Biologique Recherche PIGM 400 series – containing brightening active ingredients and plant, biomarine and biotechnological extracts at high concentrations – to provide essential hydration and even out skin tone for a picture-ready holiday glow. Hello 2023

As the year draws to a close, celebrate the good – and send off the rest – with an obligatory countdown.

On New Year’s Eve, Caprice Bar with its panoramic views of Victoria Harbour and the majestic Hong Kong skyline is ushering in 2023 with a caviar and wine celebration from 7:00 pm till late. Minimum charge per table starts at HKD 10,000*.

The countdown kicks off at ARGO, named by #28 in the World’s 50 Best Bars 2022 list, from 10:00 pm where the dimmed lights and dazzling centre stage bar are poised to ring in the new year in style. Tickets are priced at HKD 1,320 (early bird) or HKD 1,650 (at the door) and inclusive of one glass of champagne.

For an outdoor party with DJ entertainment, the Pool Terrace is ready for the crowd from 9:00 pm to 12:00 midnight. Minimum charge is HKD 1,000* per person.
