Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole Invites Guests for Unforgettable Experiences This Winter Season
The dusting of snow on the mountains is starting to look like well frosted sugar cookies but the team at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole have more on their minds than just sweets as ski season is around the corner. This winter guests are invited to visit Jackson Hole and enjoy some of these exciting and delicious new offerings:
Custom Skiing Experience
Take a spin on the Resort's custom designed Sego skis. These “Born in the Tetons, Made for the Tetons” skis will offer guests an experience unique to place and mountain. From groomers to powder days these skis are meant to keep legs fresh and ready for early morning tram laps and late afternoon cruising. The 2019 edition will be designed by local Jackson artist Amy Ringholz. Originally from Ohio, Amy has built her name as a contemporary wildlife artist over the past thirteen years in Jackson Hole. Her work is best known for distinctive style, portraying wildlife with a combination of bold, gestural lines and vivid colour. The new design will be available in the beginning of the New Year and exclusively available to Four Seasons guests through the ski concierge.
Tillie Dog Highlights
The Resort’s dog Tillie will be welcoming guests this winter with her very own cartoon book. Local artist Greta Gretzinger partnered with the Resort to bring Tillie of the Tetons to life. The cartoon books will be available upon check in. The Resort has also partnered with Teton County Library to feature weekly story time, where young guests, together with their parents, are welcome to cuddle up alongside Tillie and enjoy some literary adventure. Time and location will both available at the concierge desk.
This winter, guests will have a unique chance to capture the beauty of the Milky Way with the Resort’s astronomy and astrophotography partner Teton Skies. During the Night Sky Photography Experience, guests will be transported to a special dark sky location within Grand Teton National Park, where the Resort's dedicated team of professional astronomers and photographers will lead them on an exploration of the cosmos and provide instruction on the best tools and techniques for capturing the Milky Way in all its glory. The experience includes guided use of our large diameter telescopes, catered refreshments, cosy blankets and heaters, and the use of iPads loaded with special stargazing software. Guests are welcome to use their own equipment or inquire about camera rental packages. This program may be booked through the concierge team and is open to photographers of all skill levels.
Après Ski Body Ritual
The Après Ski Body Ritual offered at The Spa is the perfect remedy to on mountain pursuits. The 80 minute ritual includes a Himalayan salt body soak, followed by a combination of massage techniques including the use of hot stones, followed by a willow bark wrap which is akin to being placed in a warm cocoon. For added restoration The Spa now offers Celluma, an LED light treatment to help target pain and stiffness. By penetrating compromised cells, inflammation and pain are decreased along with helping to repair tissue.
Something to Sip On
The signature hot chocolate at Ascent Lounge is not to be missed. Indulge on the house made cocoa while sweet peppermint marshmallows melt in to the creamy mix. Know for her ability to wow, Chef Rhonda Ashton did not miss a trick with this wintery must-have delight. To top it off the hot chocolate will be served in a custom designed mug by local artist Katy Ann Fox. For guests looking to make their own creation, they are invited to join weekly mixology classes available in the lounge with lead mixologist Adam Reed. Guests will receive a 30 minute tutorial on how to make the perfect wintery cocktail from hot toddy to mulled wine. Times and topics for each class will be available at the concierge desk.
Bubbles on the Snow
Ski up to the free standing "Clicquot in the Snow" bar for a pop up experience which is hard to beat. Enjoy bubbles upon bubbles with champagne available by the glass and bottle. Veuve Clicquot rosé will also be available this winter season. The Clicquot bar will begin mid December 2018 and run every weekend through the winter ski season. Cheers!
