With his infectious enthusiasm and outgoing personality, Diniy D Hamzah is a natural hospitality professional with a passion for enriching and elevating every guest experience. Born and raised in Singapore, Diniy was always known among his college professors for his vibrant and extroverted personality. Four Seasons recruiters immediately took notice of his natural talent, which lead him to join as a Rooms Management Trainee at Regent Singapore (formerly a Four Seasons hotel) in 2013.

Driven by passion and love for the rich culture and vibrancy of Singapore, Diniy climbed the ranks to assume the role of Assistant Guest Experience and Concierge Manager, and thereafter Assistant Chef Concierge. He then received the prestigious Golden Keys and became a member of the Les Clefs d’Or Singapore.

After having lived in Singapore all his life, Diniy enthusiastically siezed the opportunity to follow his wanderlust heart and transfer to Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff Johannesburg to successfully build, grow and support the property’s Concierge Team. “It was a great experience working in Asia and to be able to transfer my skills and knowledge in service to South Africa, all the while immersing myself in a new culture and the beautiful surroundings of Johannesburg.”

Embarking on his new journey, Diniy relished the challenge to transition from Guest Experience & Concierge Manager to Spa Manager in 2021. “We want to offer guests a sanctuary where they can unwind in comfort for a wonderfully relaxing experience. Here, we will to take you on a journey through Africa with our treatments that promise to ignite your senses”

Outside of work, Diniy enjoys exploring the gastronomy scene, hiking the many nature reserves in Johannesburg, and spending time in the kitchen cooking his mom’s signature recipes. His favourite activity on the weekends involves spending leisurely hours strolling around Maboneng Precinct, a vibrant area filled with street vendors, food markets, buskers and the youth of Johannesburg.
