Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane and Penhaligon’s Partner to Launch New Luxury Spa Treatment in Celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is partnering with British perfume house Penhaligon’s to launch a new luxury experience. Firstly, Penhaligon’s Bed of Roses massage inspired by the captivating Halfeti, a fragrance of the fabled black rose and Penhaligon’s Enchanting Voyage massage, where the iconic Empressa fragrance, a lavish cloak of damscena rose, precious woods and spices take centre stage.

Launching this May 2022, the new immersive treatment celebrates The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, drawing on the perfume brand’s rich British heritage – founder William Penhaligon started as a Cornish barber who rose to the Royal Court and Penhaligon’s continues to hold a royal warrant today - to offer guests a treatment fit for royalty, available exclusively at the award-winning Spa at Four Seasons.

Created by Senior Spa Director Taffryn Ellis and the team at the luxury perfume house, the two new Penhaligon’s Royal Relaxation experiences are immersive treatments designed to awaken all the senses, with fragrance and Four Seasons signature techniques at the forefront of this one-of-a-kind offering. The indulgent massages use Penhaligon’s newly launched dry body oils in two of their best-selling scents, Halfeti, an intoxicating mix of rose, grapefruit and spice, and Empressa, a sparkling mix of blood orange, peach, cassis and vanilla, to showcase the best of the luxury perfume house, and prestigious 10th floor Spa.

The treatment begins with a fragrance questionnaire to personalise the experience for each guest, before entering the world of Penhaligon’s - a serene treatment room with floor to ceiling windows, fragranced with Halfeti or Empressa based on the guest’s preferences, with the soft sounds of a bespoke playlist to reflect the brand. Guests will be pampered with a 60-minute or 90-minute body massage using Four Seasons signature techniques and Penhaligon’s luxurious dry body oil, tailored to the individual to address any concerns. The highly indulgent experience is concluded with a Penhaligon’s scalp massage using Penhaligon’s hair oil, and 45-minutes in a private, fragranced relaxation pod to leave guests feeling deeply pampered.

With every treatment, guests will also have the opportunity to purchase a Halfeti or Empressa perfume at The Spa; a first time offering, as part of this special partnership.

The Penhaligon’s Royal Relaxation Massage at Four Seasons is GBP 155 per person for 60 minutes or GBP 230 for 90 minutes. Available from May 2022 online.
