As Executive Pastry Chef of Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, Chef Alexandre Chersouly works hand-in-hand with Executive Chef Michael Patria to oversee the dynamic culinary program at the Resort. Chersouly’s creations are featured on dessert menus at the Resort's outlets, including Ferraro’s Bar e Ristorante, DUO Steak and Seafood, Lobby Lounge, and In-Room Dining.

Born in Perigueux and raised all over France, he launched his career as a chef at the three-Michelin-starred restaurant Les Pres D'Eugenie Michel Guérard in 2010. He went on to further hone his culinary skills at high profile restaurants across the country before joining the family of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts at the highly acclaimed Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris in 2012, where he spent several years working in its world renowned pastry kitchen.

Most recently, Chersouly served as the Executive Pastry Chef at Four Seasons Hotel Seoul from 2018 to 2021, where he oversaw the pastry and baking operations across the property’s seven food and beverage oulets, as well as its sizable banquet operations. His career highlights include leading the team as Executive Pastry Chef at Four Seasons Resort Seychelles in 2016, and working as a pastry chef at Hôtel du Palais' Michelin-starred Palais Royal Restaurant in 2015. He was awarded in both the French pastry competition France Championship of Plated Dessert in 2012, and international chocolate competition Trophy Pascal Caffet, in 2014.

Chersouly is excited to bring his experience from across the globe to the pastry kitchen at Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, as he takes in and incorporates all that the islands have to offer.

When he is not in the kitchen, Chersouly can be found reading, fishing, surfing and spending time with his wife Yulia, and son Michael.
