Shaken and Stirred: The MARCUS Cocktail Series
In the epicentre of a city that epitomizes creativity, style and innovation, Four Seasons Hotel Montreal and MARCUS Restaurant + Lounge are showcasing mixology magic with Shaken and Stirred: The MARCUS Cocktail Series. In this unique experience, Head Mixologist Jonathan Homier will invite world-renowned bartenders to join him for a meeting of the minds and a showcase of craftsmanship, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy specialty cocktails created by both bartenders. A familiar face at MARCUS, Jonathan is the mastermind behind the restaurant’s signature renowned cocktail The Forbidden Fruit, and has helmed the beverage program since the Hotel’s opening in 2019. With more than 15 years of bartending experience and several international and local awards and recognitions, in this new cocktail series, Jonathan will share his passion for creating a moment that guests will cherish.
Beginning the series on Friday, May 6,2022, Edmonton-based mixologist and Diageo World Class Global Bartender of 2021 James Grant will join Jonathan behind the bar at MARCUS Lounge. A 10-year veteran of the service industry and recipient of several awards, James currently runs the cocktail experience at a menu-free speakeasy in Edmonton. Off the heels of judging the 2022 World Class Global Bartender competition finals, James will reveal the skills, creativity and showmanship that got him there. Guests can look forward to joining James and Jonathan for a drink and learning more about their signature cocktails for a genuine and delicious experience.
