As the Assistant Director of Rooms at Four Seasons Hotel Nashville, Chauntel K. Brown is committed to creating memorable experiences for guests that will have a lasting impact long after they return home. Dependable, passionate and empathetic, Chauntel discovered a love for hospitality in college that has never waned.

Passionate about baking, Chauntel initially had her sights set on a career as a pastry chef. She had planned to attend the Culinary Institute of America to study Baking and Pastry Arts, but she first enrolled in the hospitality program at Florida Gulf Coast University. While a student, she interned at local bakeries before accepting a position as a concierge at Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Bonita Springs, Florida.

“The rest has been history,” Chauntel recalls. “I fell in love with the guest interactions and being part of the special moments we get to help create for both families and business travellers that seem minimal, but often have a lasting impact.”

After receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Resort and Hospitality Management and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Development from Florida Gulf Coast University, Chauntel led an impressive career working for various Hyatt properties. Her tenure with the brand ultimately led her to Nashville, Tennessee, where she worked for the Hyatt House Nashville Downtown SoBro and Grand Hyatt Nashville. She joined the Four Seasons family as part of the pre-opening team for Four Seasons Hotel Nashville and she is thrilled about the opportunity to build a strong team to serve guests of the property.

“I hope to build a dynamic team that knows that as a leader I’m here to support them on their professional journey,” she says. “The growth of the team is my main focus with many of them being the future of the industry and the future of Four Seasons.”

Chauntel is looking to bring her wealth of experience in customer service to Four Seasons Nashville to deliver exceptional care and to create unforgettable experiences for guests. When she’s not creating memorable moments for Four Seasons guests, Chauntel loves exploring Music City with her mini goldendoodle, Hadley.
