“Restaurant In Your Room” Concept

New York, U.S.A.

At Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown, the In Room Dining experience is second to none, with our Restaurant In Your Room concept. Created by opening Executive Chef Shaun Acosta, the Restaurant In Your Room concept was designed as a new experiential form of In Room Dining simply unparalleled anywhere else. The menu was designed to incorporate items that could be prepared and served tableside, with the same kind of care, quality and attention to detail that would be found in a traditional restaurant experience. The fact that the dish is being delivered to your room does not dictate what the food should be. In fact, it's the opposite.

Additionally, our In Room Dining program does not dictate hours for breakfast, lunch and dinner as is traditionally done in most hotels. In a 24/7 global economy, when guests are travelling around the world at any time of day or night, the decision was made at the outset to make all dishes available 24 hours a day. Because who’s to say which time zone our guests are on and when they should take their breakfast? Our definition of luxury is getting what you want, when you want it.

With this as the guiding principle, our In Room Dining Menu offers something for everyone, at any time of day or night. The most popular dishes include such classics as the lobster roll, Tribeca prime burger and cobb salad in addition to some more adventurous dishes including crispy Korean Chicken, pork belly steamed buns, falafel and lobster ramen.

A dedicated Health & Wellness Menu is also available featuring dishes such as yellow fin tuna poke, Tribeca green salad, fresh fish tacos and an entire selection of energising and anti-oxidant smoothies. Numerous healthy options are available, not because it's a trend, but because it's the right thing to do.

Each dish is heavily product driven, using only the best and freshest ingredients sourced through local farmers and sustainable fishing practices. It's simple food, done well, and not over-complicated.

We invite you to experience our Restaurant In Your Room the next time you’re staying with us.
