Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina, in collaboration with renowned music producers HI Sessions, announces the launch of HI Sessions x Four Seasons in-house music channel and live musical performance series.  Now in its 10th year, HI Sessions is a staple on the Hawaiian music scene, garnering more than two million views per month on their YouTube channel and featuring more than 139 acclaimed musicians, ranging from Grammy award-nominated artists including Keali’i Reichel and Kimie Miner to up-and-coming artists such as Ashley Lilinoe.  The HI Sessions x Four Seasons music channel transports listeners to paradise from all over the world and now guests can enjoy the music channel from the comforts of the Resort’s luxurious guest rooms.

"Music is an integral part of the Hawaiian culture - from mele and chants to contemporary styles," notes Michael Mestraud, Senior General Manager and Vice President Residential Operations - Americas.  "We are honoured to showcase a variety of musical programs, ranging from ukulele lessons where guests can experience a hands-on workshop, to experiencing somewhat of a 'back-stage pass' where guests can watch the live musical performances by legendary artists during the actual film production of the artist's music videos with renowned music producers HI Sessions.  Four Seasons is truly where art and culture intersect."

The producers aim to promote Hawaiian music and artists on a global stage.  To date, the in-room music channel includes performances by Pure Heart, Ron Artis, Nathan Aweau, ukulele virtuoso Taimane Gardner, and Kuana Torres Kahele. In addition to the in-room streaming music channel, HI Sessions brings guests a rare "behind-the-scenes" opportunity to witness the filming of the music video performances.

“At HI Sessions, we strive to promote the music of Hawaii to the world,” notes Jon Yamasato, HI Sessions Co-Founder.  “Partnering with Four Seasons is a huge opportunity, and has been great both for us, as well as the artists."
