Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina Unveils a Bespoke Collection of Holiday Experiences

Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina, an award-winning oceanfront destination resort on Oahu’s tranquil western coast, welcomes guests to paradise this holiday season with a bespoke collection of special events, artisan workshops, culinary offerings, and most of all – joyful merriment.  Between December 19, 2022 to January 7, 2023, guests are invited to celebrate holiday traditions – both new and old, with myriad experiences ranging from Polynesian hula performances and guided meditations, to kid-friendly skateboarding camp and movies under the stars.  ‘Tis the season – and time, to embrace a warm escape to paradise this year.

Movies Under the Stars

• December 20, December 27, and January 3; 6:00 pm

Under a starry Hawaiian sky, sit back, relax and enjoy a movie under the stars on the Ocean Lawn.  

Artist in Residence: Art Demonstration with Nick Kuchar

• December 22; 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Join Nick Kuchar, Four Seasons' Artist in Residence, for an open-house style artist demonstration. Spread some holiday cheer and work alongside Nick to create a custom holiday stocking.  

Poke Bowl Culinary Demonstration

• December 21 and December 28; 2:00-3:00 pm

Join Chef Michael Arnot as he demonstrates how to make poke, a staple in Hawaii, using a variety of fresh catch.  Poke, which means “to slice or cut” in Hawaiian, refers to cubes of raw, marinated fish, which is then tossed over rice and topped with vegetables and umami-packed sauces.

Honolulu Wind Ensemble Concert

• December 21; 7:30-8:30 pm

Come out under the stars on the Ocean Lawn for a holiday concert with the Honolulu Wind Ensemble, a renowned symphony orchestra based on Oahu.  The complimentary concert will feature an array of holiday classics for the entire family to enjoy.

Hula Performance with Ke Kai O Kahiki

• December 22, December 30, and January 2; 5:30-6:30 pm

With a stunning backdrop of the Pacific Ocean, join Kumu Hula La`akea Perry and Hālau Ke Kai O Kahiki, an award-winning hula hālau based in Wai’anae from the west side of Oahu. Enjoy live music, hula, fire knife dancing, and much more. 

All Aboard! The Ko Olina Express 

• December 23 and December 30; 10:00-11:30 am

All aboard the Ko Olina Express! Join Four Seasons for a scenic and festive train ride with Hawaiian Railway Society.  Learn about the history of the railways in Hawaii, including the sugar trains during the sugar plantation days, while taking in the beautiful ocean views. There will be plenty of holiday cheer and a sweet surprise.  The ride is complimentary, with limited space. Sign up with Concierge in advance.

Story Time with Mrs. Claus

• December 24; 7:00-8:00 pm

On Christmas Eve, join Mrs. Claus under a starry sky on the Hokulea lanai for an evening of hot chocolate and holiday stories.

Santa’s Visit and Keiki Party

• December 25; 10:00 am – 12:00 noon

Santa’s stopping by paradise after a long journey around the world. Catch Santa arriving to shore on a traditional outrigger sailing canoe as he makes his way to the sandy shores of Ko Olina.  Family-friendly activities, including hot chocolate, holiday crafts, jumping castles, face painting, and more will be offered at the keiki holiday event.

Luau – Traditional Hula and Feast

• December 30; 5:30-8:30 pm

With the Pacific Ocean as a backdrop, enjoy an evening of hula performances, storytelling, and an unforgettable luau feast on the Ocean Lawn.

New Year’s Eve Celebration

• December 31; 9:00 pm – 12:00 midnight

Ring in the New Year in paradise!  Enjoy live musical entertainment at the Ohana Pool and countdown to 2022 with family and friends.  Cheers to a happy and healthy year ahead.

Healer in Residence – Dana Childs

• December 27, 2022 to January 2, 2023

Join Dana Childs, a multi-talented energy healer, intuitive, author and the Resort’s Healer in Residence, for an immersive menu of daily wellness offerings that combines the power of inner exploration with the dynamism and tranquil beauty of Hawaii.  The program includes group guided meditations, group workshops, individual oracle card readings, and individual or couple’s energy sessions.

Muhala Sound Journey

• December 22 and January 5; 4:00-5:00 pm

Relax to a meditative state during this guided sound bath experience with Pi’iali’i Lawson, an intuitive energy re-alignment practitioner.  Using crystal sound bowls, chimes and a tuning fork, sound therapy helps to reduce stress, calm the mind, relieve anxiety, realign and balance energetic bodies, and much more.

Smudge Stick - Plant Gathering Workshop

• December 19, December 26, and January 2; 9:00-10:30 am

A gathering ritual for healing and spiritual practice, join Pi’iali’i Lawson to forage plants around the Resort with prayer and intention. Create a sacred smoke wand to energetically clear the space, items and oneself.

Tennis and Tapas Round Robin Tournament

Join Four Seasons for a friendly round robin tournament, followed by a sunset toast for the group.

Glamping at Camp Kohola, A Kids For All Seasons Program

Enjoy an evening of adventure with laser tag, crab hunting on the beach, roasting s'mores, dinner, movie, and much more.  

MelonJames Street Art Workshop  

• December 28; 2:00-4:00 pm

Explore the world of mixed-media art with renowned graffiti artist and muralist MelonJames during a special street art workshop. Join Melon for a unique, hands-on workshop to create an interpretation of his signature Waves style on canvas. 

Proper Rideshop x Four Seasons Skateboarding Camp

• December 28; 5:00-9:00 pm

Join Proper Rideshop – Hawaii’s premier youth development skateboarding training facility, for a special skate camp "dropping in" over the holidays.  Mini-shredders ages 7-17 will learn the fundamentals of skateboarding and safety skills, while also building social, mental and physical skills.

In addition to the Resort’s special holiday programming, the ongoing weekly workshop series, #FSWAYFINDERS, is also available for guests to experience.  The program includes a collection of on-site artisan-guided workshops to allow guests to discover first-hand the culture, art, and experiences that make Hawaii unique.  Offerings include lauhala weaving, hula, resin painting, astronomy and stargazing, haku flower crown making, and more.
