The Wellness Floor at Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street, Boston Announces Its Resolution to Make 2020 the Healthiest Year Yet
The Wellness Floor at One Dalton presents a new weekday special available for guests of Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street, Boston and outside visitors in support of their New Year goals of achieving better health and wellness. Available now by prior reservation from Monday to Thursday between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, guests booking any spa experience will enjoy USD 50 off the regular treatment price, complimentary pool access, and a healthy lunch served poolside, selected from Chef Kelley Schmidt’s specially curated Wellness Menu.
Explaining the thinking behind this new offer, Wellness Floor Manager McKenzie Cassidy demonstrates her holistic approach to wellbeing. “At this time of year, many of us are starting new fitness regimes. But we also need to remember look after ourselves. I like to recommend spa experiences such as the Deep Focus massage to alleviate the inevitable stiffness that we all encounter a day or two after exercising, and we often forget about the benefits of swimming for muscle recovery, so I wanted to put something together that combined the two,” she explains.
“Diet plays a huge role is helping us achieve our goals, so it was important to me that we added this component,” explains McKenzie, pointing to the complimentary main menu item and “healthy juice of the day” that all guests will receive when booking the offer.
Senior Sous Chef Kelley Schmidt has carefully created a Wellness Menu for guests to enjoy poolside as they relax after exercising or a spa experience. “The six menu options are all light, healthy and easy to eat by the pool,” smiles Chef Kelley. “Having lived in Hawaii, I’ve had plenty of experience cooking for surfers and other guests with active lifestyles. The ahi poke bowl option I designed for this menu uses a clean protein type of native crab, as well as fresh avocado and seaweed, so it’s packed with healthy fats and omega 3s, which are awesome for promoting heart health,” explains Chef. Other menu options include “Feel Good Crudites” served with carrot hummus, and a wellness salad of grilled chicken, spinach and a light vinaigrette.
The Wellness Floor at One Dalton team proudly announces an enhancement to its Fitness Center facilities, with the arrival of two Peloton indoor cycling machines. Advanced technology delivers an interactive workout for the user, with the option to connect the rider to a live class or to a library of on-demand rides to customise the desired experience while using the cutting-edge carbon steel and aluminum bikes with weighted flywheel. “I’m so excited to have these with us, it feels like Christmas has come all over again since they arrived,” laughs McKenzie. "We know that our guests are taking their fitness more seriously than ever, so having these in our Fitness Center is a great addition for them,” she explains, pointing to an already impressive selection of equipment adorning the 2,100 square foot fitness facility on the Hotel’s 7th floor.
One final addition to The Wellness Floor’s already stellar facilities is the exciting launch of its Salon, offering a range of manicures, pedicures and blow drys that will ensure that all visitors are made ready to look their best in 2020. “It’s wonderful to have the space open. We’ve got a talented team in the Salon who are now taking bookings for outside visitors as well as Hotel guests,” explains McKenzie Cassidy.
